The G-Spot is one of life's mysteries. Scientists and Sexperts have been arguing over the existence of the G-spot for years, but most now agree that the G-spot does in fact exist and can lead to mind blowing orgasms. Many women believe that the G-spot is not real or it's so clouded in mystery that they're not sure where its located or even how to stimulate it.
What is the G-spot?
The G-spot, also called the Gräfenberg spot (after German gynecologist Ernst Gräfenberg), is characterized as an erogenous area of the vagina that, when stimulated, may lead to strong sexual arousal, powerful orgasms and potential female ejaculation. It is typically reported to be located 2–3 inches up the front vaginal wall between the vaginal opening and the urethra and is a sensitive area that may be part of the female prostate.
What is so amazing about the G-spot?
The G-spot orgasm is much more unique than that of a clitoral or internal orgasm. This is due to the fact that the prostate has a different nerve than the clitoris does making the sensation of the orgasm much different. Most women agree that a G-spot orgasm is deep and long lasting. What's not to like about that?
Does every woman have a G-spot?
There is still much speculation about this. Many Sexperts say, "Yes, the G-spot does exist...but each woman is different." For some woman, a G-spot orgasm gives mind blowing orgasms while other woman may feel nothing. Just like some woman are able to have an orgasm through penetration only and some woman need the assistance of clitoral stimulation.
How do I find my G-spot?
If your feeling brave there is nothing wrong with doing a little exploring on your own with a simple tool, your fingers! If you lay on your back and insert your fingers facing towards the ceiling, it makes finding the G-spot much easier. About 2-3 inches in the vagina there is a rough knobby patch of tissue, the texture will feel much different than the smooth skin around it. Now a trick I have found very useful among many women is that it is much easier to find the G-spot after you have already had an orgasm. If you have tried to find the g-spot with your fingers and don't feel that rough patch of skin then try to have an orgasm. After you have had an orgasm try again, post orgasm actually makes the vaginal muscles loosen up and the G-spot more accessible.
What if I don't feel anything?
If you still feel nothing, don't worry. You are not abnormal if you don't get turned on by having the G-spot touched. It's very similar to some women having extremely sensitive nipples while others do not. Try not to focus on the parts of the body you don't feel stimulation but rather on the parts that you do.
Other ways to stimulate the G-spot!
Going solo can always be fun, but there other fun ways to stimulate the G-spot! Just like anything else, there is always a learning curve to something new. Some men know how to hit the G-spot but if he doesn't, now that you know where it is, you can guide him. Sometimes different positions allow for easier access to the G-spot. For example, try putting a pillow under your back side; it will elevate your back slightly and allow him a better angle to find your sweet spot. You can also try "doggy style" on your hands and knees which allows for better penetration during sex, so you can imagine it does the same for G-spot stimulation. Have your partner insert his pointer and middle finger in and crook his fingers upward and start moving his fingers in a "come hither" motion. A lot of women might not feel a lot of pleasure if the G-spot is just simply being stroked, sometimes in order to arouse the G-spot you have to more vigorously stroke it. The best way to describe how you know when your G-spot is being stimulated is if you feel like you might have to urinate, but don't worry its a natural feeling when stimulating this area.
