Sextoys for Women

Vibrators come in all shapes and sizes! Some are designed for internal pleasure, such as rabbit vibrators or g-spot vibrators, while others are designed for external use, like wands, bullet vibrators, air pulsation toys, and more! Some are quiet and discreet while others are rumbly and powerful; everyone has a preference!

Most vibrators can be easily cleaned with fragrance-free hand soap, or with a toy cleaner. Remember not to submerge your vibrator in water unless the instructions say you can! Most toys that say they're waterproof mean that they're splashproof, not submersible, and if the battery or power source gets wet, your vibrator could be ruined.

Vibrators can be enjoyed during any kind of sex you want to have! A lot of people really enjoy vibrators during penetrative sex, as most vulva-owners require clitoral stimulation in order to reach orgasm. There's no shame in grabbing a vibrator while you and your partner do the deed together.

Technology in the sex toy industry has come a long way in the past several years, and people in long-distance relationships have more options than ever before, with "tech toys," or toys that connect through a smartphone app! A few of our favorite tech brands are We-Vibe, OhMiBod, and Lovense, the latter of which is only available in store.

Despite the convenient warranties offered by some brands, sex toys eventually wear out and need replaced. The most obvious sign that it’s time for a new one is damage to the outer layer of the toy’s material.

If it’s unnaturally bumpy, cracked, broken or torn, it’s time to introduce it to the garbage can. Just be sure your device isn’t under warranty before you throw it away. Some manufacturers will fix any broken parts or even replace the entire device if it becomes defective during the user’s lifetime.Either way, get rid of your sex toy when it stops functioning as expected or when it no longer suits your needs.Unfortunately, there isn’t a sex toy recycling center yet.

Sextoys for Men

Cock rings fit around the base of your shaft, or your testicles, depending on what you prefer. Once on, the ring restricts blood flow into your penis, which causes you to hold an erection for longer. They also allow you to prolong your orgasm, and experience a more intense than usual one. Most cock rings are made of a super stretchy material that will fit around most penises, but anyone with a smaller or larger than average penis may need to check sizes first.

Surprisingly, the answer is yes. Fleshlights and other high-end masturbators, like Main Squeeze, modeled on a porn star will be a better quality replica than the less expensive, lower end options.

Many male sex toys are specifically designed to help men in this situation! If your erectile dysfunction isn't too severe, a cock ring may be all you need to help you stay hard. Other than that, combining a penis pump and a cock ring can also help, as can prostate massagers, as they provide stimulation in a different part of your body!

If you're new to anal penetration, look for a prostate massager with a tapered or narrow tip. We recommend using a hybrid lubricant, since it doesn't dry down as quickly as a water-based, and start slowly. You don't have to go too far to reach your prostate, and if you pick out a massager that vibrates, you may want to turn it on as you're pushing it in--the stimulation will help relax your body.

Both toys are designed to be used as strokers. Masturbation sleeves tend to be larger and more cylindrical in shape, sometimes with a larger opening, while pocket pussies are smaller versions and tend to be designed to look like vaginas, anuses, or mouths.

Sextoys for Couples

Couples sex toy Couples sex toys are a great way for couples to try a toy together. Vibration for both him and her. These types of toys are a great way to orgasm together.

Couples toys are a great edition to any couples sex routine. Vibrating love rings do stimulate the penis especially in the beginning, but as the man wears the toy. It begins to desensitize as the penis gets used to the vibration.

Love rings are worn by the man and the female feels the vibration when the man is all the way inside her. We vibe style clamp around the female Clitoral and labia area. The we vibe style gives the woman constant vibration and the love ring give the man constant vibration. Both are great to use as a couple. Just slightly different.

Each couple is unique in how they view and enjoy sex and/or masturbation. Therefore, introducing sex toys into your relationship should include a conversation about the matter prior to going shopping. If the topic is left open-ended, feel free to explore the options available to you online or at your local adult entertainment store. A good rule of thumb is to keep things simple at first; start small and iterate relentlessly if necessary. Remember, practice makes perfect and nobody knows what to do their first time. Try to be encouraging and supportive of your partner until they’re comfortable with the new addition to your relationship. Always respect their boundaries and never force them to do anything they don’t want to do or else you’ll never get away with using sex toys again.

Besides knowing what a sex toy is, being educated on the proper use of one, and gathering intel about ways to find the best model, determining your ideal sex you requires a close and careful consideration of a few personal matters.

For starters, find out if you or anyone you have sex with has any skin sensitivities and/or allergies to certain materials. Secondly, study your unique body types and openly discuss your sexual desires.

There’s a sex toy out there for everybody, but no amount of buyer’s guides will help you find the right one if you’re unsure about what you and/or your partner(s) want.

Good sex toys are made to provide you and/or your partner pleasure without causing either of you any physical harm. However, knowledgeable use of your toys plays a big role in how safe everyone is during playtime. Regardless, well-made toys can’t hurt you if you use and maintain them as directed.

Never play with dirty, pre-owned sex toys. Don’t forget to clean yours off after every use. Remember to slap on plenty of personal lubricant to reduce friction, drag, and potential damage to your device. Slowly explore the toy’s various features and functions to avoid damage or injury. And last but never least, don’t forget to communicate with your partner and be honest with yourself about what you want and need out of each sex or masturbation session. If someone gets hurt or starts to feel uncomfortable, stop what you’re doing immediately and rethink your approach.

Bath & Body

Due to massage oils usually having fragrances or flavors added to them, the short answer is no. Oil can also degrade the material of condoms or sex toys as well! Unless the massage oil specifically says that it's safe to use as a lubricant, like Dame's Sex Oil, you're better off getting a separate lubricant when picking up your massage oils.

We actually carry an entire line dedicated to making shaving intimate areas easier! Coochy's products are perfect for this need, and their After Shave Protection Mist is made to help keep razor bumps at bay.

Clitoral stimulants are oils or creams that are made to be applied to the clitoris to make orgasms stronger, and make the clitoris more sensitive. Clitoral stimulants usually have either mint, menthol, or cinnamon in them, so they can be either warming or cooling! The way it makes the clitoris more sensitive is by using that warming or cooling aspect to pull blood to the area, so that you experience heightened sensitivity. It's definitely worth trying out with your partner or your favorite toy to make a good time even better!

Massage oil candles are exactly as they sound--candles that you burn down, and then pour out to use as a massage oil! Instead of being made with wax like typical candles are, these candles are usually made with coconut oil, and naturally burn at a low temperature so they don't hurt the skin. They're a great option to bring in a bit of temperature play into your massage night!

Surprisingly, yes. Throat numbing sprays are a fantastic option for those with a partner who's a bit more endowed, or who have a sensitive gag reflex. What makes these sprays work is Benzocaine, a numbing agent (if you've ever looked at male delay creams or sprays, it's the same ingredient used in those), but don't worry, almost all throat numbing sprays are flavored, so they don't taste like medicine!

Dry mouth sprays either use malic, benzolic, or citric acid to make your mouth produce more saliva. They're a fantastic option for people with dry mouth from smoking, medication, or any other reason! Dry mouth sprays also come in plenty of different flavors as well.

BJ aids are what it sounds like--products to help with performing oral. These products usually aim to numb the throat, helping with gag reflexes, or to help you produce more saliva. BJ aids are almost always available in a variety of flavors as well!

Pheromones are similar to hormones, but are secreted outside of the body. There are 4 different types of pheromones, and pheromone perfumes for women tend to be made to attract men and increase their sexual desire, while pheromone colognes for men are made to attract women. Though there are some colognes and perfumes made to attract those of the same sex, it can be a rare find. We recommend reading a bit more about pheromone products on our blog.

Lubes

The best way to find out whether you should use water-based, silicone, or hybrid lubricant is to read the product information that comes with your sex toy. Water-based lubricants work well with all sex toys, so they're a versatile option.

Silicone lubricant is a great option with metal and glass toys, especially for anal play. They're also great for regular penetrative sex without the usage of any toys, since they don't degrade the material of condoms! You just can't use it with silicone or plastic toys, since silicone and silicone don't mix; it will very quickly erode or degrade the material of your toy, which is always a bummer, especially if it cost a pretty penny.

Hybrid lubricants are made up of at most 15% silicone and 85% water. This means that the silicone concentration is watered-down enough that it won't hurt your sex toys, while still keeping a bit of that silicone lubricant property that keeps it from drying down too quickly, or drying down quickly like a water-based lubricant does. Hybrid lubricants are a great option for any kind of sex!

Glycerin and parabens are usually in lubricant to increase their shelf-life, and while they're not outright bad for you, they are the most common vaginal irritant. It's always a good idea to check the ingredients list of any lubricant you're buying, and make sure that it's paraben-free.

Water based is always the preferred lubricant when it comes to sex toys. Why? Because it is toy safe and easy to clean up. Hybrids can also be used for toys too and is still easy to clean. We recommend you do not use silicone lube with silicone sex toys. It could damage the material.

Oil-based lubricants, like ones made of coconut oil or avocado oil, are usually appealing to many people because they can be used as a massage oil as well. The downside of it, however, is how limited you are in what else you can use with them; oil-based lubricants will degrade condoms, may damage your silicone sex toys, and can even trap bacteria, which is something to be concerned about when using it in an intimate area. Coconut oil can also disrupt your body's natural pH.

Even though flavored lubricants are water-based, it's best to be used for oral sex. Many (though not all!) flavored lubricants have added sugar, and sugar can cause an overgrowth of yeast in the vagina, vulva, or rectum.

Absolutely! Organic lubricants, like Sliquid and Good Clean Love are a fantastic option. One of the most common vaginal irritants in lubricants are glycerin and parabens, so try and stray away from those as well, and see if it helps with any skin irritation.

Fetish

Talk to your partner! Let them know you're interested, and give them a few ideas of what that means to you; maybe you like handcuffs, or maybe a silk tie or scarf will do. Start slow, communicate, and take your time.

If it happens during intimacy, let your partner know you need to stop. You might want a safeword -- a word that doesn't fit the moment -- that will catch their attention, or go for the stoplight method if you can't think of a specific word (green means go, yellow means slow down or try something else, red means stop). However, if you realize after you're done that you don't like it, talk to your partner. There are a lot of other kinky things to try, and bondage sex is only one of them! You might only need to change the way you did it, and try another option next time.

Absolutely! You can try bondage tape, which is easy to use, or if you or your partner has a silk tie, try restraint with that. Under-the-bed restraint kits are also an option, since they include leather cuffs, which feel different from regular handcuffs, or behind the back arm corsets! You can also use a collar and a leash if you want to add role play to your bondage sex. There are a lot of ways to restrain your partner!

If you're new to tying rope, try cotton or a polyester blend. Sex companies even sex bondage-specific silk rope, since it's also soft and easy to use! Don't go to a home improvement store, or use rope out of your garage, unless you're fully comfortable with rope tying and know what you're doing, so that you don't accidentally hurt your partner. We also recommend having bondage rope/bondage tape scissors nearby to grab quickly if you need to get your partner out of restraints fast.

It all depends on what you and your partner are into! Paddles and floggers are great if you enjoy impact play, while adding vibrators, especially wearables, are great for orgasm control and extra pleasure. You can use hog-tie restraints or spreader bars to put your partner in different positions. You'll be amazed at how much there is to try!

This is a super common concern, and the main answer is usually no. As long as your fetish is concensual, communicated with your partner, and doesn't do any lasting harm to others, there's no such thing as a bad, weird, or taboo fetish.

Floggers are typically more light-weight than paddles, offering a more "sting-y" feeling to the subject. They're a great option for being used along someone's back, as long as you avoid the kidney area--about 2 to 5 inches above the butt, to the left and right of the spine. We cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid this area, as there's no bone to protect it, it houses vital organs, and it's easy to hurt. On the other hand, paddles are fantastic for impact-play on the butt, due to their sturdiness, and often wide surface area.

Nowadays, these two terms are often used interchangeably, but traditionally, a sexualized kink is considered to be a term used to refer to a playful usage of sexual concepts which are overt, accentuated, and/or unambiguously expressive of sexuality. A sexualized fetish is traditionally considered an object or situation of interest that causes sexual arousal. There is sometimes an implied notion that a kink was something done for casual fun, while a fetish would indicate a form of requirement for sexual arousal.

A type of sensual play involving the use of one’s sensory and physical sensations, sensation play can range from light to a little rough. While people can enjoy this type of play with items found around the house, plenty of fetish can be purchased specifically for sensation play. Some examples include — but are certainly not limited to — leather whips, floggers, spiked Wartenberg wheels, massage oil candles and blindfolds.

Anal

The anus is a tight muscle designed to keep things in until something needs to be let out, and it doesn't produce any natural lubrication like the vagina and the penis do. Pushing anything into your anus without preparation will definitely hurt; but it doesn't have to. With lots of lubricant (hybrid works best), patience, and the ability to relax, anal shouldn't hurt whether you use anal toys or something else.

All anal toys should have a narrow tip to make penetration easier, and a wide, flared base that can't get pulled into the rectum. Other than that, most things are about personal preference! Choose a body-safe material like silicone or metal, and a smaller size if you're new to anal toys, and you should be fine.

Of all the anal toys out there, prostate massagers are some of the most popular among men, because stimulating your prostate (or p-spot) can, and does, cause multiple orgasms. It's unlikely that you'll ejaculate more than once, since the body does need a refractory period, but the pleasure, muscle spasms, and clenches of an orgasm can and do happen!

It's best to start off by cleaning the area; make sure you've gone to the bathroom recently, and hop in the shower! Listen to your body. If you're really worried, or you're going big with your anal play, you can always use enemas to clean out your system completely.

Soap and water are still the best way to clean your toy. We do suggest you wash before and after use to make sure bacteria isn’t an issue. Toy cleaners add a extra level of protection.

Yes, with a few smart choices. Anal toys should have a flange to help the user from inserting too far. We suggest communication with your partner to make sure you have a manageable size.

The material itself isn't what's important. It is how porous the material is. A Porous or semi porous are not the best because bacteria could adhere to the material if not properly cleaned. A non porous material is best for an anal sex toy. You should wash all your sex toys before and after use so you don't have any issues.

Yes, people. Absolutely. The anus connects to the rectum, which connects to your large intenstine, which is 5 feet long. That's why we only recommend toys with a flared base for anal use--not just a straight dildo without a suction cup. Safe sex in any form is the best sex (unless a trip to the emergency room is a turn on for you).

Lingerie

Garter belts are not only sexy accessories they are also great for keeping your outfit looking as straight and polished as possible. I like to describe them as the suspenders of lingerie. Like shapewear, they are not requirements but help create a polished and well put-together look.

Lingerie can be a great gift for a significant other. The secret is figuring out what they like. Take a look at their current wardrobe and designs they gravitate towards when making your choice.

The lingerie description provides a detailed description of the materials and design in every item. It also lists individual care tips to consider for longer shelf life.

Hopefully, this makes your process of lingerie shopping a lot smoother than previous times. Remember here at Intimates Boutique we offer customer care support, and a FAQ with general and focused answers, to help answer all other questions.

"I can't say this enough: Handwashing your lingerie is the absolute best care you can give it. It may sound tedious, but it's actually not. Fill the sink basin with lukewarm water and add a capful of delicate lingerie wash. Then, swish your pieces around in the water a bit, rinse, gently squeeze out the water, and lay flat to dry.

Condoms

Absolutely! There are plenty of latex-free condom options, but we usually recommend Skyn condoms. They come in a variety of options, including different fits and extra lubrication options!

Dental dams are a thin piece of latex meant to lay over the genitals to prevent the transmission of STIs during oral sex. Since latex doesn't taste great, they come in a variety of flavors! It can also be used for oral anal play as well. Check out our All About Dental Dams blog for a full rundown of how they work, and how to use them!

As great as this idea seems, and despite how popularized it is (mainly from movies), keeping a condom in your wallet isn't a good idea. Keeping it in your wallet, where it can get sat on or folded, can lead to the wrapper tearing, or even the condom itself, despite the wrapper looking like it's in tact. It's always best to keep condoms out of extreme temperatures, and leave them in close reach at home where they're safe!

It is generally not recommended because of concerns that friction between the condoms could increase the chance of breakage.

Yes! Even though there isn't a risk of preganancy with oral, there is still a risk of STI's. Not only is using a condom for oral safe sex, it is also a fun way to experiement with flavored condoms.

Short answer: no. Though you can definitely get it back on, if you're trying to prevent pregnancy or the transmission of STIs, you should never essentially re-wear condoms, even if they only slipped off for a moment.

Absolutely not! If you find that the condoms that you're buying are uncomfortable, or restrict bloodflow, it's best to try going up a size. On the other hand, if you find that it's harder to keep an erection while wearing a condom, it could be because the condom dulls the sensation in comparison to sex without a condom. Using more lubrication is a great way to increase sensation and help with that issue!

If you're going to use a condom under water, it's important to put the condom on before you get in the water. It's also good to keep in mind that chemicals such as chlorine, or bath additives like soap, bath oil, or bubble bath solutions may affect the latex, or other material of your condom.

Air Pulsation Page

Air pulsation toys do simulate what someone does to someone during oral sex. It's not like a human with a tongue; it does, however, suckle the clitoris just like a lover does. Another great thing about this type of toy is they tend to give more orgasms because they do not desensitize like a buzzy vibe would do.

The main difference between these 2 toys is that air pulsation creates an air flow around the clitoris, providing stimulation while lightly sucking, while a suction toy firmly grabs the clitoris and keeps constant suction action. Unsure on what you like? Think about how you like your oral sex - that may help you decide which would work best for you.

100% of participants experienced an orgasm using the Womanizer. Majority (86%) experienced an orgasm between 5 – 10 minutes. Majority (86%) believe the Womanizer improved their sexual response. 77% reported their overall orgasmic response was a lot better with the Womanizer.

App Based Toys

Most App based toys do not require a remote. But if your in the same room? It mat be easier to use the remote if one is offered. Most App toys work even if your not neaqr each other.

Generly We Vibe is considered one of the best app based toys on the market. Another great option is the Svakom line of App toys. Either are great fun and high quality.

The woman is ussually the reciever of pleasure, so it is always fun for them. But men love being able to control what the women is feeling. For this reason, this is a great toy for men as well.

Long distance sex used to relagated to sexting or the ocasional dirty talk on the phone. Not any longer my friends, with the ability to watch your partners on video. You can controll what a sex toy is doing to them as you watch. How fun is that?

Womens Bullet and Eggs

Generally speaking, couples who can explore novel ways of being intimate — including trying out one or more sex toys — tend to fare better in terms of maintaining passion and desire (in addition to relationship satisfaction) over the long haul.

Dildos

DILDOS Often shaped like a penis, a dildo is one of the most popular adult sex toys. Depending on your preference, dildos can be anatomically correct with veins and balls or come in many different colors and styles. Typically, dildos do not vibrate, but some dildos do have vibrating features for added pleasure. Dildos may beharness compatible; if this is something you want to explore, we recommend looking intostrap-on dildoswhich are designed for this purpose.

Double-Ended Dildos– Coming complete with two functional ends, double-ended dildos (aka double-sided dildos) are most commonly used between couples. A double dildo allows for both partners to experience penetration at the same time.

Glass Dildos– These toys are made entirely of glass and are excellent for exploring temperature play as they can retain warmth or coldness. They offer intense firmness and typically come with eye-catching designs.

G-Spot Dildos– Designed with a curved tip that will purposely hit your G-Spot.

Squirting Dildos– These dildos can be filled with an ejaculate-like liquid to simulate the sensation. For those who want a realistic feel to their sex toy play, squirting dildos can provide it.

Strap-On Dildos– These sex toys strap onto the body with the use of a harness so you can engage in intercourse with your partner.

Strapless Strap Ons– These sex toys allow you to enjoy penetration with a partner without having to wear a harness. They are usually double-ended so that two partners can simultaneously use them. As one partner moves, the other will feel a corresponding sensation from their end of the dildo.

Realistic Dildos– Shaped and designed to look like a penis, realistic dildos tend to have the look and feel of the real thing.

Vibrators

Vibrating Dildos– These dildos feature a vibration setting that is designed to intensify your pleasure.

Anal Vibrators– Designed specifically for anal pleasure, anal vibrators have a flared base and are popular among people of all genders.

Bullet Vibrators– Bullet vibrators may look little, but the pleasure they bring is the real deal. Bullet vibrators are ideal for clitoral stimulation and their size allows for easy travel and discreet storage.

Clitoral Vibrators– These compact vibrators strictly focus on stimulation of the clitoris, making them a sex toy for women and those of other genders who have a clitoris. Most clit vibrators are for external use only, but some can also be inserted.

Discreet Vibrators– Discreet vibrators are generally small, quiet, and packed with intense pleasure.

Egg Vibrators– Similar to bullet vibrators, egg vibrators are small, discreet, and typically shaped like an egg for ultimate clitoral pleasure.

Finger Vibrators– A small vibrator typically shaped to fit on one’s finger.

G-Spot Vibrators– These vibrators are designed to stimulate from the inside by activating the G-Spot, which is a spongy area located on the vagina’s inner front wall. This is a particularly sensitive area that can be stimulated for a unique type of sexual pleasure, but it can be challenging to reach. The strategically curved shaft of G-Spot vibrators makes this type of stimulation super simple.

Men’s Vibrators– Men’s vibrators are designed to stimulate either the shaft of the penis or for anal pleasure. Coming in many different shapes, styles, and sizes, these men’s sex toys vary from anatomically correct vibes to vibrating cock rings and more.

Rabbit Vibrators– A rabbit vibrator is designed for simultaneous clitoral and internal stimulation. The clitoral stimulator works together with a molded shaft for double the pleasure.

Rechargeable Vibrators– Rechargeable vibrators don’t require batteries. Charge and run times vary by vibrator.

Remote Vibrators– These vibes are controlled by a remote and make couples play extra exciting. The person holding the remote will be in charge of when and which type of sensations the wearer feels.

Suction Vibrators– These vibes typically do not vibrate, but instead, they use suction technology to pleasure the clitoris. Many prefer this type of clitoral sensation because it doesn’t apply direct pressure and may enable longer use.

Tongue Vibrators– These vibes feature a tongue design to provide a sensation similar to oral sex.

Vibrating Panties– These are panties which contain a vibrator or vibrating motion designed to stimulate the wearer whether they’re sitting, standing or walking. Sometimes vibrating panties come with a remote control for couples play, but others come with a bullet vibrator that features an on/off switch.

Wands– Created specifically for clitoral stimulation or use on external body parts. Wand massagers can also be used on sore muscles.

MEN’S SEX TOYS

From masturbation tools to couples play and so much more, men’s sex toys are specifically designed top pleasure the male anatomy.

Anal Toys– Also known as butt plugs or anal plugs, usually designed to internally stimulate the p-spot (prostate). These toys will always have a flared base so they can’t get “lost” within the body. Must be used with lubricant.

Cock Rings– Cock rings are worn on the shaft of the penis to intensify pleasure and prolong an erection. Some feature vibrations for added pleasure alone or with a partner.

Penis Pumps– Vacuum devices that help enlarge the penis and maintain an erection.

Prostate Massagers– These sex toys are designed to stimulate the prostate gland (sometimes called the P-spot), which is often described as approximating a walnut in size. The prostate is located inside the rectum of men and those assigned male at birth. The prostate is particularly sensitive, and sex toys called prostate massagers can help stimulate it for increased arousal or to maintain an erection. A vibrating prostate massager provides further stimulation to this sensitive area.

Sleeves– Also known as penis extenders, sleeves adds size to the penis. They can increase length, girth, and more to help stimulate your partner. Sleeves are easy to put on and remove Vibrating sleeves provide the same functions along with vibration for added stimulation for the wearer and their partner.

Strokers– Also known as male masturbators or pocket pussies, strokers are designed to replicate the feeling of sexual intercourse by “stroking” the penis in a tight grip. Some are molded to look like the female anatomy or the anal opening for extra pleasure.

Toy Materials

Adult sex toy materials are very important so you can be informed. It is essential to your health and comfort when it comes to picking a sex toy. Below you’ll find some of the most popular sex toy materials.

ABS Plastic – This hard plastic material is non-toxic and can be used with any type of lubricant.

Glass– This body-safe material makes for easy cleaning and allows experimentation with temperature play.

Metal– Surgical steel and aluminum are both body-safe materials that are compatible with any type of lubricant.

Silicone – One of the most popular sex toy materials, silicone toys are compatible only with water-based lubricants. Silicone is non-porous, making it hard for bacteria to stick around.

TPE– Thermoplastic elastomer is a non-toxic material that can be firm or squishy. These toys shouldn’t be stored with other toys as the material tends to break down over time and could fuse together with other materials.

TPR– Thermoplastic rubber is another non-toxic material. Best used with water-based lubricants.

These are not ggod vibrators in the sense of quality. It is a great option , if you like power and if you are on a budget. It delivers very strong vibrations. The wired bullets are not that great. The rechareable bullets are the best option.

Classic Vibrators

Lubricant is always a good idea, as even with clitoral toys, lubricant helps the toy move across your body easier and feel more comfortable. For g-spot and rabbit vibrators, lubricant makes penetration easier, too! Use a water-based or hybrid lubricant for most vibrators unless the instructions say it's safe to use silicone lube.

A classic vibrator is usually smooth and in a cylinder shape. A very classic look for vibrators. Sometimes if a vibrator feels uncomfortable. This shape can offer less resistance when moving in and out of the vagina.

Vibrators come in many different sizes and shapes. Sex Toys are very personal and depending on what you are trying to achieve in your sex sessions, will determine which shape is best for you? Toys with a bent tip is best is your trying g spot stimulation, where sex toys that are straight usually works best for a beginner.

Clitoral Sex Toys

Using a clitoral vibrator may allow you to focus on your pleasure while exploring different intensities, Intimates Boutique says. Unlike penetrative toys like dildos or G-spot vibrators, clitoral vibrators focus just on your clit. If penetrative toys seem like *a lot* or if you know you like the attention more on your clit, rather than internal sensation or a full feeling.

“More intensity isn’t always better,” Intimates Boutique says. “You may want to start out with a lower intensity and work with the breath to expand the journey.”

The best way to find out what sensations you like? Practice with different types of toys. “Pleasure is a personal experience and people should feel empowered to use products that maximize their pleasure,” she says.

Sex toys cannot make your clitoris loose feeling or damage it permamently. If you use it for a while and start to go numb, just take a break—just like if your butt goes numb from riding a bike. Stronger Clit vibes can desensitize some. We suggest a deeper vibration, like a wand if you numb out quickly.

One of the best ways to choose a quieter vibrator is to know its decibel (dB). Sound is measured in units called decibels (dB). The higher the decibel level, the louder the noise. However, the way we perceive sound isn’t linear. A dB level increase of 10 means that a sound is 10 times more intense, or powerful.

Decibel Chart Sounds Sex Toys For Women Volume

To give you an idea, a 20-30 dB sound is equivalent to the sound of rustling leaves or a whisper. Though, it's challenging to find a vibrator quieter than 50 dB, which is equivalent to the sound of a normal conversation. A 50 dB vibrator is not as quiet as a whisper, but faint enough that you can easily damper the sound by using it under heavy covers, such as a comforter. You can also turn on a fan or play music to mask the noise.

Wand Attachments

Wands are fantastic sex toys. Maybe still as popular as ever. A wand is essentially a clitoral toy. Adding attachments is a great way to turn the wand into an internal toy. But you get great deep vibrations all in one sex toy.

Some of the attachments have nubby's to create a differnet sensation on the clit. Another great shape will give you G spot stim. Some even have a Gspot and Clitoral part that can be used at the same time.

You do need to make sure you have the correct brand and wand size before purchasing an attachment. This will also ensure you get the most out of your attachment and wand.

Discreet Vibrators

I discreet vibrator either looks like something you may use daily like a lipstick or a Mascara. It can also be something like a panty vibe that can be worn under your clothing. No one would even know.

There are many choisces for panty vibes. Some have a simple remote which he can control, this works up to 15 to 20 feet. Another great way is to use a WiFi connected sex toy. These can be used in the same room or even if your not in the same country.

One of the most popular toys is also a neckless from a company called CRAVE Vesper. This little guy hangs from your neck and can detach for use at any stoplight.

Dilators

A dilator is any item designed to help put pressure on the pelvic walls. Dilators set are a progressive system, so the user can start small and work there way up as you get more comfortable with the size. The goal is to make sex more pleasurable and comfortable.

A dilator can come in many sizes, but they're often about 4 inches long and vary in width. They're often used to help reduce the pain and anxiety that some people with sexual pain syndromes feel with, or in anticipation of, sexual intercourse.
The main benefit of keeping a dilator in while you sleep is that you are passively stretching the vaginal muscles. If you don't have time to dilate during the day, sleeping with your dilator in may be useful. Silicone dilators may be a more comfortable option to use during sleep

Female pumps

Female pumps can be 3 different types of toys. Clitoral or vaginal pumps, Nipple Pumps and sex toys that use suction along with stimulation to achieve orgasms. These toys sometimes add tongues in a flicking manner at the same time.

Yes female pumps do. These are great ways to improve bloodflow with in the area suction is applied. Good bloodflow ussually mean an increased rate of orgasms. Add vibration or a tongue to suction will give you the type of stimulation needed for orgasms.

There have been studies if there are noticable increase in size after using a pump. Just lije with penis pumps, it is usually a temporary increase in size and doesn't remain permenant. The extra suction will make the area suctions more sensitive and create a more favorable chance of bigger orgasms.

Finger vibrators

One of the best things about a finger vibrator is it is an extension of your finger, with vibration of course. Making these a great forplay or a a way to stimulate the G Spot with vibration. Some of strong enough to reach orgasm.

Finger vibrators are lil vibrating sex toys that conveniently fit right on (or over) your fingertips, explains sex educator Tim Sizemore, owner of sex toy shop Intimates Adult Boutique. They’re an amazing way to amp up a solo sesh or add a bonus buzzy sensation while touching your partner. Plus, some options even “nestle between your fingers so you don’t have to hold onto them

Welp, for one, they can be used on any body part. So whether your partner has a vulva or a penis, a finger vibe can make the perfect addition to your next hookup.

Another bonus: “They can help folks achieve orgasms more quickly and easily than just using fingers alone. They add sensation and fun to sex, and for many women, they can really help with sexual arousal. If you have never tried a vibrator before, little finger vibes are an excellent way to introduce them into your sexual activity.”

G Spot Vibrators

A G-spot vibrator is a motorized sex toy specifically designed to hit the infamous (and often thought to be mythical) Gräfenberg spot, better known as the G-spot.

Depending on a person’s anatomy and preferences, the G-spot can be an intense area for sexual pleasure, particularly during orgasm, but that’s not the only thing a G-spot vibrator can stimulate!

You can often use them on the:

  • Vulva
  • Clitoris
  • Labia
  • Nipples
  • Anus (externally)
  • Labiocrural fold (where the outer labia meet the inner thighs)
  • Frenulum (located beneath the head of the penis)
  • Perineum (located between the genitals and anus)
  • Any other erogenous zones that enjoy vibrational stimulation

If you aren’t familiar with G-spot-specific stimulation, maybe it’s time you gave it a whirl with a vibrator dedicated to specifically stimulating it!

How To Use A G-Spot Vibrator

There are multiple ways to use G-spot massagers, depending on what kind of stimulation works best for you.

My best advice?

Experiment with your vibrator in a no-pressure situation — likely while you’re alone and definitely not when your partner is present and expecting you to climax in a timely way.

Depending on how adjustable your G-spot massager is, you may have options for intensity and vibe patterns so it’s a good idea to cycle through those before you begin, just to become familiar with how it all works.

Start slow and low before adding pressure, stronger vibes, or a more assertive pattern as needed — and don’t forget to use a quality water-based lube.

Many (if not most) G-spot vibrators are crafted from silicone, which will degrade when used with a silicone-based lubricant.

Remember, too, that you can use your vibrator on more than just your G-spot!

Some G-spotters, like the Hot Octopuss Kurve — which I personally reviewed (and loved!) — have a soft exterior that’s amazing for clitoral stimulation.

You can use a G-spot vibrator to stimulate the:

  • Vulva and labia
  • Clitoris
  • Nipples
  • Anus (externally)
  • Labiocrural fold (where the outer labia and inner thighs meet)
  • Frenulum (under the head of the penis)
  • Perineum ( between the genitals and anus)
  • Any other erogenous zones that turn you on

If you are using your G-spot vibrator to stimulate your anus, make sure to clean your toy before inserting it back inside your vagina or using it on any other area of your body.

There are some creative ways that couples can use G-spot vibrators together.

As we mentioned earlier, a G-spot vibrator can be used on far more than just the G-spot.

Our bodies are covered in erogenous zones — regardless of gender or sexual orientation — and G-spot vibes can stimulate and tease just about all of them in one way or another.

Particularly if crafted from soft, skin-like silicone, a G-spot vibrator can be used against a partner’s neck, nipples, stomach, inner thighs, shoulders, and genitals during partnered play.

A G-spot vibrator can be used during one-sided or mutual masturbation, as well. For extra spice, one partner can use it on the other while the person on the receiving end of the stimulation is blindfolded.

Additionally, a G-spot vibrator can be inserted vaginally to provide deep stimulation during cunnilingus.

These ideas for using a vibrator with a partner are just the tip of a very large iceberg — let your imagination be your guide and experiment with one another!

How Can You Use A G-Spot Vibrator During Sex?

Series Of Illustrations Depicting Various Placements Of A Bendable G-Spot Vibrator To Convey How It Works

Generally speaking, most phallic G-spot massagers aren’t great for use during intercourse, unless they are inserted vaginally during anal sex while exploring double penetration.

But they can be awesome to use on a partner with a vulva, providing external stimulation of the clitoris during penetrative sex.

Having said that, there are some couples’ vibes designed to stimulate the G-spot during intercourse, like the We-Vibe Chorus.

Toys of this nature typically feature a narrow, somewhat flat shaft that’s inserted vaginally, providing stimulation to both partners during use.

We know couples who swear by G-spot vibrators made for intercourse.

This type of sex toy can be expensive, however, so we recommend getting to know your G-spot before deciding whether or not to invest in one.

Kegal and PC muscles

Ben Wa balls, or Kegel balls, are small, weighted balls that a person can insert into their vagina. Some believe that these balls can help a person perform pelvic floor or vagina strengthening exercises. Others say that they can improve sexual pleasure. However, there is no scientific evidence to support these claims. At Intimates, we believe a hapier vagina will always lead to better sex

If you're doing your kegel exercises correctly, you should feel your muscles tighten as you do this. As with all muscle training exercises, practice makes perfect. “Often you can squeeze the muscles for a quick second but then the muscles fatigue really fast.

Yes, just in a slightly differnet form. Most kegel balls come with a retrieval cord and are weighted but are larger in size, We at Intimates think these a better for beginners. Ben wa balls are metel and usually a heavier weight. These do not have a retreival cord and are designed to fall out with gravity. Making them much tougher to keep inside you. Making you engage your kegel mucsles when using.

Panty Vibes and Wearables

  1. Wear them to a restaurant. Look, if food is as important to you as it is to me, you’ll need to specify that you don’t want any playing DURING FOOD INTAKE. (Read: it’s not funny to turn the vibrating panties on full-blast as you’re inhaling pizza. Trust.) But all other moments are completely fair game.
  2. Walk your dog with them. Sure, people might check on you to make sure you’re not actually losing your damn mind, but you’re “totally okay.”
  3. Sit in one room, while your partner sits in another and controls the sensations. This is low-key the easiest way to orgasm with a partner… when they’re not around you…and you’re using a toy…sorry.
  4. Go grocery shopping. On a Sunday afternoon. At Trader Joe’s. You’re basically bound to run into your ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend, your first grade teacher, and your boss’s brother all while picking out some eggs and struggling to speak full, complete sentences. Fun, right?
  5. Wear them on an airplane. Look: Sexing in that cramped bathroom in the name of ‘joining the mile high club’ is so 2000s. It’s now all about the vibing panties during your two hour flight to Tampa, next to the dude who has pressed the call button twice for extra pretzels.
  6. Meet the rents while wearing them. It’s cuffing season, which means you’re probably headed to you new boo’s house for Thanksgiving. Nothing says, “Hi, I hope you like me” more than awkwardly squirming underneath the dinner table.
  7. Wear them to work. Some people need caffeine for their afternoon pick-me-up, but why not get a high in other ways beside coffee? Endorphins FTW…but don’t tell HR we told you this was a good idea.

Asa far as quality goes? The We Vibe Moxie is a fantastic choice for a panty vibe. It clips to the panty and can be used with an App from almost anywhere. As a budget selection is Vedo Niki. Both are great fun, one has WiFi and the other is controlled by a remote.

They can be both a couples toy and a personal use vibrator. What makes it a great couples toy is the fact, he can control the vibration and when it is turned on. Which by the way is when you are turned on too! These are great interactive fun for both partners.

Rabbit Style

A rabbit style sex toy is basically a dual stimulator. What is a dual Stimulator? It is any toy that had an internal part for insertion and a dedicated clitoral stimulator. This gives you the best of both worlds. At Intimates Boutique we suggest this kind of toy for a more experienced user. Mainly because of the amount of stimulation rabbits provide.

One of the best things about rabbit vibrators is that they’re so versatile. You can use them in a number of ways to experience different levels of pleasure.

But let’s start with the basics. Here’s how to use a rabbit vibrator:

  1. Make sure the rabbit vibrator is clean and charged
  2. Add some water-based lube to both shafts
  3. Choose your vibration settings (test the intensity with your hand or finger)
  4. Sit in a reclined position or lie on your back in a comfortable place
  5. Insert the main shaft into your vagina. You can press on the G-spot, thrust, or just enjoy the vibrations.
  6. Let the external armrest on your clitoris for dual-stimulation
  7. Adjust the intensity as needed, and enjoy!

Here are some other ways to use your rabbit vibrator:

  • G-spot jiggy: Turn the external arm off and use your rabbit like a G-spot vibrator. Great for getting in the mood without overstimulating.

  • Solo clit quicky: Use the main shaft to massage the clit or the external arm to hug it. Perfect for quickies with easy clean-up.

  • Couples play: When your partner can stimulate your G-spot and clit with just one hand, it frees up their other hand and their tongue for further exploration….

It’s hard to say which rabbit vibrator is best for your body. Everyone’s body is different, and so are the ways we experience pleasure.

The best way to find out is to start with a classic rabbit and see what you like. From there, you can upgrade to rabbits with different shapes, sizes, and functions that cater to your unique pleasure preferences.

While we can’t help you find the best rabbit for your body, there are some factors that can help you choose a better rabbit vibrator for your needs.

Consider the following rabbit features to help you make your choice:

Size

Rabbits come in different lengths and girths.

If you’ve never used a penetrative sex toy before (such as a dildo), make sure you start with a standard length of around 8 inches and a girth of 6 inches or less.

Ladies who are used to larger toys may need a girthier rabbit to feel satisfied.

Power Source

Some rabbits are powered by alkaline batteries and some are rechargeable via USB cable.

We recommend the more modern rechargeable rabbits, but some ladies prefer the original battery-powered rabbits so they don’t have to keep track of another charger.

Vibrational Settings

The more control you have over the intensity of your rabbit’s vibrations, the easier it will be to hit your sweet spot.

Rabbits have from 3 to 50+ vibrational settings and combinations.

More expensive rabbits tend to have more vibration settings.

Functions

Rabbit vibrators come with a range of extra functions and features depending on the brand you buy and how much you’re willing to spend.

They include warming, pulsing, thrusting, remote-controls, rotating beads, and more.

Noise

Rabbits can get a bit loud because they have (at least) two motors controlling the vibrations in each shaft.

If you live alone, this won’t matter much. But if you value your privacy, consider spending a bit more on a premium rabbit—they’re usually much quieter.

Waterproofing

Pay special attention to the waterproof rating of your rabbit.

All rabbits will be waterproof enough to handle lubrication, but many are not waterproof enough to use in the shower.

Safety

Rabbits are the most popular female sex toys, so there are a lot of cheap products out there.

Only buy rabbits from trusted brands, and we recommend only using rabbits made of medical-grade silicone.

Condomania only partners with major brands, and all of the rabbits we sell are medically tested for your safety. We make it easy to shop for rabbit vibrators!

Suction Toys

In certain ways they are very similar. Air pulsation toys do offer suction, but it also allow air flow to surround the clitoris and create a vibration or a pulsation of sort. Creating a oral style of stimulation. True suction toys have constant suction, creating a feeling of a partner sucking the clit without removing thier mouth once you have begun.

Some suction toys do come with vibration. One thing to pay attention to, does the vibration wirk so well that it is difficult to keep it lock onto the clitoris. Which may impede how well you orgasm.

Even though the tech on these toys are similar. In our store, we sell way more air pulsation toy then we do suction. At Intimates Boutique, we find the air pulsation toys like the Womanizer or Satisfyer provide way more orgasms than standard suction toy. So we believse air pulsation is a much better choice in sex toys.

Tongue Vibrators

The reasons why someone would like or dislike a synthetic marital aid is based on countless individual factors, including but never limited to the person’s personality, the conditions of their love life, their partner’s wishes, their sexuality, their romantic intentions, their budget, the presence of unsatisfied fantasies, any physical limitations, the need for stamina training and the desire for general sexual exploration through safe and healthy means. Sex toys allow people to fully customize their sexual experiences through a wide range of features and design options, providing men and women with the opportunity to make or break their own rules.

Vibrators womens sex toys

Sex toys cannot make your clitoris loose feeling or damage it permamently. If you use it for a while and start to go numb, just take a break—just like if your butt goes numb from riding a bike.

If you are completely new to vibrators? We suggest starting with something simple and clitoral like the Vedo Bam. If you like something inserted then we suggest a smoother avergae size toy like the Doc Johnson Velvet Touch

This is an everchanging question as new materials are introduced into the adult market. Silicone is still the best choice for most sex toys, but within the silicone, there are different types. One of our new favorite materials is liquid silicone. Has on the safety of regular silicone, but has a cushy sofness to that makes it more confortatble to use then a hard firm silicone. Rememeber that the more cushion a vibrator has, it will disperse the power some.

Vibrator Kits

One of the main reasons to get a kit is to try more than one sex toy. Usually kits have a few different types of toys to choose from. The other reason is you want all the toys in the kit. How fun is that? Vibrator kits are a great way to get a lot of bang for your buck.

Vibrator kits are made for both women and couples. The couples kits will ussually have a sex toy for the man and the women. Creating great interactive sex sessions.

Vibrator kits come in many price ranges, Some are simples sleeve kits which are normally inexpensive. Some of the high toys make quality kits, these are in a much higher price range.

Wands

Because it usually a wand is used as a clitoral toy and is not inserted, you probably do not need lubricant. That being said, lube will make most sexual act better. Whether alone or with your partner. Also different lubes can create differnet sensations.

Wands are great for 2 reasons, one is the power most wands have. Has a deep and heavy vibration, which will help in how quickly you may numb from the vibration. Another fantastic reason is you can applt pressure to the clit. Why is this important? Pressure allows you to get deeper onto the clitoris, reaching all the nerve endings.

First off, if I have to explain to you how cool wand vibrators are then you’re on the wrong page (kidding). Regardless, you should understand by now that a well-researched sex toy can make a huge difference in the quality of the love-making coming from your bedroom.

If you honestly have no clue what you’re missing with this whole wand vibrator thing, listen up. It’s about to get real.

Put as simply as possible, a wand vibrator is a vibrating sex toy that has an elongated handle, a soft, vibrating ball on top and a series of automatic and/or manual controls.

With improved ergonomics and elegant, high-tech features, these impressive devices take bullet vibrators to the next level. And although wired wand vibes have been around for quite some time, the new models are completely wireless and three times as powerful.

Improvements to the grand design were inevitable, especially since wand vibrators have steadily increased in popularity since their inception.

Today’s magic wands offer women (and men) a new type of sexual stimulation that, when done correctly, can supersede the sensations of real sex. Not only is the pleasure more wide-spread than it is with conventional vibrators, but the overall design of this innovative toy makes it much easier to manipulate for many users.

In short, wand-style vibes send continual shockwaves to a large surface area. This generally results in the user experiencing full-body pleasure instead of localized joy.

Furthermore (yeah, I’m still going), a good wand vibrator can double as a muscle massage instrument.

So, even if you’re unsure how one of these devices will fit into your bedroom routine, buying one could always end in a sensual rub-down.

Modern-day wand vibrators have a ton of intriguing features that make them a worthy addition to anyone’s collection.

The higher-end devices are finally beginning to catch up with their futuristic cousins, now featuring things like Sync-to-Music and wireless remote controlling. Choosing the best model is only a matter of knowing what to look for (and what to avoid).

Here are a few things you should do before moving forth:

Take some body measurements.

Do you know how big your hand is? Have you done a finger test on yourself or your partner? How much circumference and stretch are you working with? Can you hang on to something that has a fat handle? You better figure that stuff out first.

Find out if you have any allergies or chemical sensitivities.

There’s no better time than the present to discover underlying health problems such as unknown allergies and/or chemical sensitivities. The only other time to find all that out is after sex or in the emergency room. Can’t afford a doctor’s appointment? Stick with silicone-based wand vibrators to avoid allergic reactions.

Familiarize yourself with the most popular manufacturers.

Sex toy makers get good (or bad) reputations in the industry for good reasons, but some of them have a healthy following due to clever marketing. Do some detective work on each manufacturer to make sure their claims are up to par with consumer opinion.

Create a flexible budget.

Know your price range ahead of time so you don’t over spend, or worse, get sticker shock when you see how much some of these wand vibrators cost. Keep in mind that this is supposed to be an investment in your future orgasms, so make your budget flexible enough to accommodate pleasant surprises.

Keep it real about the features you need.

Granted, many of the wand vibes available today have some pretty cool features. However, some of them aren’t practical for the novice person. Only pay for what you’ll use and save that high-tech crap for someone with a bigger bank account. If the vibes are strong, you can’t go wrong.

Also, don’t forget to ask your partner what he or she wants, jerk.

But since contemporary sex toy manufacturers have caught wind of our incessant demands, the wand vibrator market is now besieged with options. Therefore, average people can’t figure out which device to buy and most of them wind up spending money on an expensive piece of junk.

So, while the choices are virtually endless, don’t fall into the trap. Marketers are clever, but that doesn’t mean you’re stupid. This shopping trip doesn’t have to be a nightmare.

Anal Masturbators

Simple answer: everyone is different! Some people prefer the tighter feeling of anal masturbators, while others are looking for more of a blowjob experience, which is why masturbators come in different options, from anal, to mouth, to vaginal, and even some others.

Take your favorite toy cleaner (we recommend a foaming one--it's easier to get into the channels of strokers and masturbators!), and apply four to six pumps to the outside and inside of your masturbator. Use your hands to squeeze the cleaner deeper into the channels of your masturbator, then rinse and set out to dry! Once it's dry, add a pinch of restoration powder to the palm of your hand, and pat into the masturbator, just like youd apply baby powder to skin. The restoration powder helps your masturbator feeling brand new, and keeps the silicone from getting microtears in it!

Since most masturbators are made from either silicone or TPE, we recommend using a water-based or hybrid lubricant with them! If you're used to silicone lubricants, or hate when water-based lubricants dry down tacky or too quickly, hybrid lubricants will be your new best friend. Check out our lubricant section to learn all about them!

Cock rings

A cock ring, also known as a penis ring, is a popular male sex toy that is used to enhance sexual performance for the pleasure of the wearer and their partner. Penis rings come in many shapes and sizes, but most involve a loop that is placed around the base of the penis (and sometimes testicles), and the tightness on the shaft creates a longer-lasting, harder erection, and can even intensify the wearer’s orgasm.

There are plenty of different types of cock rings. There are stretchy jelly-like rings, adjustable, ones that strap around the shaft and testicles, vibrating, remote control, butt plug rings, and even more!

If you've never used one before, a jelly or adjustable ring might be the best for you! These ones are recommended for beginners due to them being able to accommodate a variety of sizes, so you don't have to worry about it being too big or too tight.

Hollow Extension

Hollow extensions are a bit different from regular extensions in that they are not sleeves; they do not necessarily stretch to hug your penis. Hollow extensions have a harness and are more rigid, designed to allow your erect, semi-erect, or even flaccid penis to fit inside them. These extensions come with harnesses to assist in keeping them sitting firmly and securely around you for maximum pleasure. Both men and women can wear a hollow extension since they are sturdy enough even without a penis inside.

Most commonly, people with erectile dysfunction purchase hollow extensions. Erectile dysfunction can affect indivduals at any age, and for a myriad of reasons. ED can be slight – where your penis doesn’t get as hard as you would like or you lose your erection – or it can be serious where you may not be able to become erect at all.

Since an erection is sort of a necessity for penetrative sex, people who suffer from ED often are unable to have regular intercourse or will shy away from sex for fear of an ED flair up. A hollow extension allows the penis owner to insert their penis and have penetrative sex even if their penis is completely flaccid. In this way, even if you have a flair up of ED during intercourse, you do not have to stop. This also allows them to continue to interact with their lover in a traditional, sexual way.

The choice between an extension or a hollow extension really comes down to what you want or need to accomplish. If you just want to add a little something to your sexual experience — some length or texture — then a regular extension is probably the right choice for you. Since there are no “straps” or harnesses with an extension, the ability to maintain an erection is important. Occasionally, people who suffer from mild ED will find the clenching of the penis extension sleeve to be beneficial in fighting that slight lack of erection.

If you are battling with ED, a hollow extension is your best bet! Since you can use them with a completely flaccid penis, it is the best option for anyone who loses their erection many times during a sexual encounter. The main function of a hollow extension is for a penis owner to use it when they are worried about losing their erection and stopping the flow of intercourse.

Male Penis pumps

Male pumps are more of a sexual health item than a sexual pleasure item. They're pumps that help pull bloodflow into the penis, encouraging an erection. Most often, people use them in conjunction with a cock ring to help hold the blood in the penis, and maintain an erection for longer. They're most commonly used by people with erectile dysfunction!

When you are starting out, stick to 2 – 3 pumping sessions a week and don’t pump for any longer than 15 minutes at a time. Once you feel more comfortable with the process and the suction then you can increase the frequency of your workouts and train more often. It’s important to keep your sessions no longer than 15 minutes, and if you want to do longer then give yourself a break every 10 – 15 minutes. Let the pressure out, then stretch and massage the penis to get the blood circulation flowing freely again to help the pumping process.

No. What they can do is increase blood flow to your penis to help you achieve or maintain an erection so you can have penetrative sex. Sure, you may gain a teeny bit of extra length from a pump, but it’s a temporary gain; it will not make you bigger over time by using it more often.

Masturbators

Water-based or hybrid lubricants are the best option for masturbators, since most of them are made from silicone!

Once it's dry, add a pinch of restoration powder to the palm of your hand, and pat into the masturbator, just like you'd apply baby powder to skin. The restoration powder helps your masturbator feeling brand new, and keeps the silicone from getting microtears in it!

For the most part, no. However, you can buy warming accessories for silicone masturbators!

Prostate Toys

The prostate gland is located in male reproductive systems — it’s a little organ about the size of a walnut. It is located below the bladder, where it surrounds the urethra and rests in front of the rectum.

A hybrid or water-based jelly lubricant is the best choice for prostate toys, since most of them are made with silicone. We usually recommend hybrids for any kind of anal play, since you don't have to reapply them as often as a water-based lube, and they don't dry down sticky or tacky either!

You'll find that some of our prostate massagers have a textured phlange to the outside of them. This is for perineum stimulation! The perineum is the skin between the testicles and the rectum, and is the perfect spot for external prostate stimulation. Combine that with direct prostate stimulation, and you'll see why it's such a common attribute with vibrating prostate massagers!

Strokers

Water-based or hybrid lubricants are the best option for strokers, since most of them are made from silicone!

Take your favorite toy cleaner (we recommend a foaming one--it's easier to get into the channels of strokers), and apply four to six pumps to the outside and inside of your stroker. Use your hands to squeeze the cleaner deeper into the channels of your stroker, then rinse and set out to dry! Once it's dry, add a pinch of restoration powder to the palm of your hand, and pat into the stroker, just like you'd apply baby powder to skin. The restoration powder helps your stroker feeling brand new, and keeps the silicone from getting microtears in it!

For the most part, no. However, you can buy warming accessories for silicone strokers!

Male Vibrators

Depending on what setting you have it at, no! We recommend with your first vibrating stroker to try it out at the lowest setting and go from there. Listen to your body and don't overwhelm yourself in the process!

If you're familiar with strokers, they're the same concept - just with a bit of an extra buzz about them. Simply insert the penis and stroke the toy up and down over the shaft and head, and adjust the speed to a setting you're comfortable with.

Body Molds

Body molds are a more realistic version of your standard masturbator. Usually doggy style position, they offer a more realistic feeling to any solo session!

Take your favorite toy cleaner (we recommend a foaming one--it's easier to get into the channels of strokers and masturbators!), and apply four to six pumps to the outside and inside of your body mold. Use your hands to squeeze the cleaner deeper into the channels of your body mold, then rinse and set out to dry! Once it's dry, add a pinch of restoration powder to the palm of your hand, and pat into the channels of the body mold, just like youd apply baby powder to skin. The restoration powder helps your body mold feeling brand new, and keeps the silicone from getting microtears in it!

If you'd like to add a bit of extra stimulation, then yes, absolutely! Vibrating body molds are a great option for everyone, from inexperienced to experts.

Extensions

Extensions slide onto the penis like a condom, and are made to enhance pleasure, or improve functionality in people with erectile dysfunction.

Absolutely! They're a great option for anyone struggling with ED, and for those who want to just add some girth or length.

No. Extensions are not a substitute for condoms, nor do they work the same way. Extensions sit over the penis like a condom, but it doesn't act like a barrier, meaning bodily fluids can still get onto your actual penis. Due to this as well, just like any other sex toy, make sure you're washing your extensions before and after every use!

Mouth Masturbators

Not necessarily, but they're still a great pick nonetheless. With some lubricant they can feel close to oral sex, but there's unfortunately nothing that's exactly like the real thing.

While some of our mouth masturbators may be warming, for the ones that aren't, there are masturbator accessories that you can buy that warm up the silicone! You can also try using a warming lubricant as well!

Once it's dry, add a pinch of restoration powder to the palm of your hand, and pat into the masturbator, just like you'd apply baby powder to skin. The restoration powder helps your masturbator feeling brand new, and keeps the silicone from getting microtears in it!

Porn Star Strokers

Yes! The sleeves or strokers are molded directly from the porn star, so you can truly experience what it would be like to be with your favorite adult model.

Take your favorite toy cleaner (we recommend a foaming one--it's easier to get into the channels of strokers!), and apply four to six pumps to the outside and inside of your stroker.

We recommend using a hybrid or water-based lubricant for strokers, since most of them are made from silicone, and silicone lubricant will melt the stroker. Hybrid lubricants are a great choice, since you don't have to reapply it as often, and it doesn't dry down sticky or tacky like your standard water-based lube!

Sex Dolls

Yes and no! Most people who are looking to actually use sex dolls are buying the more realistic, and honestly, pricier ones, often times made from silicone, not TPE. Most lower-end sex dolls are purchased as gag gifts for friends' brithday parties and bachelor parties!

Water-based or hybrid lubricants are your best friend when it comes to sex dolls! Hybrids are the most popular option since they last a long time without reapplying them just like silicone lubricants and don't dry down sticky or tacky.

Take your favorite toy cleaner (we recommend a foaming one--it's easier to get into the channels of sex dolls), and apply four to six pumps to the inside. Use your fingers to move the cleaner around the channel and make sure it's gotten everywhere, then rinse and set out to air dry!

Silicone lube is great for if you like for your lubricant to last a long time, and hate that sticky or tacky feeling that water-based lubricants tend to get while drying down. On the other hand, silicone lubricant does stain if it gets onto any sheets, and it does make clean-up a bit more difficult, since it won't dry out like a water-based or hybrid.

Double Dongs

Not necessarily! Plenty of couples enjoy double dongs. Some use them on their partner without inserting the other end into themselves, some use them for solo play due to the extra length making a great handle, and gay and trans people enjoy them just the same! Double dongs do, however, get most of their popularity from adult sites, where lesbian couples often use them.

Depending on the type of double dong, sure! Some double ended dildos are even made for this specific purpose. If this is your intended use with your double ended dildo, make sure to look for one that's pre-bent, like the Colours DP Pleasures, or the Ruse Double Dong!

There's plenty of options for double dongs, but the main ones that you'll find are straight double dongs, curved dildos intended for double penetration, and two dildos side by side, intended to be inserted vaginally for a more extreme experience.

Clone your Own

Absolutely. The only material that comes in contact with your skin during the molding process is a molding powder derived from seaweed. Your finished dildo is then created from a body safe, platinum cure silicone - the gold standard of sex toys. Your finished replica will be non-porous, completely washable, and it's low viscosity allows for incredible detail. Perhaps even more importantly, it WILL NOT SHRINK at all over time!

No problem, you'll still get a perfect copy of yourself! Whatever you put into the molding gel is exactly what you'll get out. For piercings, however, we do recommend removing it before using the mold.

It can be. For easy clean up, create your mold over a non-carpeted floor or lay down some newspaper first. If any molding gel is spilled on a hard surface, it will easily clean up with water. A spill on carpet is equally easy to clean when wet, but once dry it will require re-saturating the area with water and picking out the gel by hand.

Glass Toys

Any lubricant you want! Glass toys are compatible with water-based, hybrid, silicone, and even oil-based lubricants! Most people even prefer using silicone lubricants with glass toys due to it being a more slippery lubricant that you don't need to reapply as often.

You can clean glass toys with your favorite toy cleaner, but another great way to clean them is by boiling them, or because they're standardly made of borosilicate glass, you can even throw them in your dishwasher to sterilize them!

Depending on how you're using them, a lot of people love glass toys for g spot or prostate stimulation, since to stimulate those areas you usually require a decent bit of pressure! Other than that, using glass toys is a great way to include sensation play into the bedroom. Glass toys can be tossed in the freezer for a few minutes to chill and add a rush of cold to a heated moment!

G/P Spot Dildos

G and P spot dildos are curved more than your typical dildos, due to the location of the g-spot and prostate.

More people than you'd think! Though most women need clitoral stimulation to reach orgasm, that combined with g spot stimulation can make orgasms even more intense. And since the prostate and g spot both need a decent amount of pressure when being stimulated to feel good, curved dildos are perfect!

Absolutely! Check out the Gvibe Gjack 2, or the Gvibe Gjay. We recommend these two toys for a vibrating g/p spot dildo, since they have a handle, which is crucial for prostate stimulation due to it not having a flared base.

Love Rings

For us, we sort non-vibrating cock rings into the typical cock rings category, while all of our vibrating cock rings are here. That's the only difference, though; love rings are just your standard cock ring, but with a bit of buzz behind them!

Absolutely! Not only does it provide added stimulation for the wearer, but depending on the position, it can add a ton of stimulation for the reciever. It can even be added onto dildos for solo play, or with a harness!

Our in-store customers really love the power behind the VeDO Roq, and there's even an option with the same power behind it that has two rings for those who like their love rings to strap around the testicles as well as the shaft!

Harness Compatible Dildos

Harness compatible dildos are any dildos with a flared base. The base is required so that the dildo can sit in a harness and not slip out of the o ring!

Check the dimensions of the dildo! Most harnesses come with two different size o rings, but no matter what, whatever o rings your harness comes with can only fit a dildo up to a certain size in girth.

As long as it has a flared base, and the tube doesn't get in the way of the harness's hardware, absolutely! We personally recommend Strap-On-Me's Cum Dil for this purpose.

Inflatable Toys

I know the sound of them is daunting, but inflatable toys are definitely safe for internal use!

No, at most, it will be more of a weird/unusual sensation as it deflates. It's not like a balloon popping, don't worry!

Silicone is your best bet for any toy, but especially inflatable ones! Some inflatable toys are made with latex and TPR, but those are also usually on the cheaper side, and may tear easily. Silicone inflatables like the Swell line are a more durable and high quality option!

Metal Toys

Metal toys are a great choice, since they add a bit of temperature play into the bedroom and you can use silicone lubricant with them. People also buy them since they tend to be easier to clean as well!

Any lubricant! Metal toys don't have a silicone coating to them, so you can use silicone lubricants without worrying about damaging your toy. This is why metal is such a common material in anal toys!

While you can clean metal toys with your favorite toy cleaner, you can also boil them or even through them in the dishwasher to sanitize them (just make sure they're a nonvibrating metal toy if you do that!).

Porn Star Dildos

Yes! These dildos are molded directly from the porn star, so you can experience exactly what it would be like to be with your favorite adult star.

Absolutely! Just like some people fantasize about being with their favorite Hollywood actor or actress, the same goes with porn stars. Our porn star dildos are actually some of our most popular options!

Run the dildo under water first, then take your favorite toy cleaner and spray the toy. Wipe off the excess, run it under some water again, and set it out to air dry!

Realistic Dildos

Realistic dildos are any dildo that is phallic, meaning shaped like a penis. They can be any color, but as long as they have that phallic shape to them, they're considered to be realistic! Realistic dildos vary from plain, smooth dildos with a head, to ultra-detailed dildos with veins and testicles.

Water-based or hybrid lubricants are your best friend when it comes to dildos! Hybrids are the most popular option since they last a long time without reapplying them just like silicone lubricants and don't dry down sticky or tacky, but they also don't damage your silicone toys like a silicone lubricant would!

Run the toy under water, then spray your favorite toy cleaner onto it. Rub in the cleaner, wipe or rinse it off, and set it out to air dry!

Realistic Large Dildos

Water-based or hybrid lubricants are your best friend when it comes to dildos! Hybrids are the most popular option since they last a long time without reapplying them just like silicone lubricants and don't dry down sticky or tacky, but they also don't damage your silicone toys like a silicone lubricant would!

Run the toy under water, then spray your favorite toy cleaner onto it. Rub in the cleaner, wipe or rinse it off, and set it out to air dry!

Large dildos come in sizes ranging from ten inches to thirteen inches, and even beyond thst. Large dildos are a great choice for anyone who loves a full, stretched-out sensation. A twelve inch dildo is about the same length as two soda cans stacked together or a standard ruler.

Realistic Small & Medium Dildos

Water-based or hybrid lubricants are your best friend when it comes to dildos! Hybrids are the most popular option since they last a long time without reapplying them just like silicone lubricants and don't dry down sticky or tacky, but they also don't damage your silicone toys like a silicone lubricant would!

Run the toy under water, then spray your favorite toy cleaner onto it. Rub in the cleaner, wipe or rinse it off, and set it out to air dry!

Smaller dildos range from around six inches long (but can be even smaller) to around eight inches long, so about the size of an average penis. On the other hand, a medium dildo can range from eight to ten inches. Although these dildos are larger than the average penis, they fall into the mid-range of dildo sizes.

Suction Cup Dildos

Absolutely! The flared base of suction cup dildos is perfect to keep the dildo in the o-ring and harness, and the suction cup doesn't interfere at all.

Yes! A majority of people buying suction cup dildos actually use them in the shower. Think of them like razor holders with suction cup backs - those stay up until the seal is broken, and these dildos are the same way!

Suction cup strength varies from one dildo to another. Rule of thumb is that the more expensive it is, the better quality both the material and the suction cup itself is!

Unnatural Dildos

Unnatural dildos are non-phallic (meaning not shaped like a penis) dildos, often times having an unnatural pattern to them for stimulation.

People buy unnatural dildos for a variety of reasons! Some people enjoy the feeling of the different textures, while others simply think that they look interesting.

Run the toy under water, then spray your favorite toy cleaner onto it. Rub in the cleaner, making sure to get in any ridges or bumps, wipe or rinse it off, and set it out to air dry!

Vibrating Dildos

Depending on the brand, yes they can be! Be sure to check if the toy is just splashproof or submersible.

As long as they have a flared base, absolutely!

Run the toy under water, then spray your favorite toy cleaner onto it. Rub in the cleaner, wipe or rinse it off, and set it out to air dry!

Anal Accessories

Lube shooters are a great option for anal play, as they keep the lube where it's meant to go. Just insert and push in the stopper, apply some more lube directly to the toy you're using, and enjoy mess-free sheets!

Locking toy boxes are the perfect solution to nosy kids, relatives, or guests. You can set the combination to anything you want, and it helps keep your toys clean as well, so they're not rolling around in your nightstand, or tucked away on the floor of your closet.

Anal Beads

Anal beads are a great purchase due to the beads often times being tapered, so you can start small and work your way up. Plus, when someone experiences an orgasm, their muscles in that area contract repeatedly; anal beads provide a similar sensation when moved in and out!

Since anal beads are almost always made with silicone, we recommend sticking with a water-based or hybrid lubricant. Hybrids are a great option for anything anal, since they don't dry down sticky and last longer than a water-based!

The most important thing to look for in anal beads is that they end in a phalange or handle, so they don't end up lodged in the rectum, and for easy retrieval. Other than that, it's all based on experience level! Beginners may be more comfortable with smaller beads, or a toy that only has two or three, while those more experienced with anal play may feel comfortable with five to eight beads.

Anal Trainer Kits

Anal penetration can be scary for newbies, but don't worry. Once you start experimenting with anal stimulation, you'll see how pleasurable it really can be. Use this time to train and experiment with anal stimulation by yourself or involve a partner into the mix. Make sure to use plenty of lube for easy insertion for the tapered tip. If you're partaking in anal play for the first time, it's important to never rush or force anything.

Anal trainers or starter kits are a great place to start, as it's meant for beginners with smaller anal plugs for practice. Each anal trainer kit comes with varying sizes of trainer plugs or anal beads to "train" your body to the stretch and exciting sensation of anal play. Once you've become comfortable with the feeling of having an anal sex toy inside of you, you can start to use standalone starter toys.

For safe and pleasurable anal play, keep the following information in mind:

  • Only engage in anal play if it’s something you want - not because you feel pressure to try it.

  • Use plenty of lube (we can’t stress this enough!). Apply generously to start, and reapply as needed during play.

  • Avoid excessive douching. Instead, try a high-fiber diet or fiber supplement to keep things tidy.

  • If you experience pain, stop. Take a break, relax, and try again later with more lube. However, if you find anal play to be consistently painful, consult with your doctor or healthcare provider because this could be the sign of a problem in need of treatment.

  • For penetration, start small, slow, and shallow. You don’t need to insert something large and deep to experience pleasure - but if that’s what you want, you need to build up to it and not rush it.

  • Get creative and try different toys and positions. Figure out what feels best for your body.

  • Use toys with a flared base to prevent over-insertion.

  • If engaging in play with a partner, communicate early and often about what you want, what feels good, and if you experience discomfort.

Anal Probes

To keep your anal toys like new and to ensure the ultimate in hygiene, clean them thoroughly with hot water and sex toy cleaner.

Steps for Cleaning:

  1. Rinse toys well after play then spray them with your favorite toy cleaner.
  2. Leave on for 30 seconds. Scrub any hard-to-reach areas carefully. An old soft-bristled toothbrush comes in handy to get in between grooves and ridges too.
  3. Rinse the cleaner off with warm water then lay it on a sheet of clean paper towel to dry.
  4. Keep your toys dust-free by storing them in a storage bag or box.

Your anus doesn’t self lubricate, so we’d recommend always using an anal lube before using any anal toy. We recommend a hybrid or jelly lubricant, since both of them are thicker than your typical water-based lubricant, and require less re-application.

An anal plug is primarily intended to remain stationary and provide a feeling of fullness/stretch. It’s also meant for use over extended periods of time. Plugs are supposed to be comfortable, but still noticeable. An anal probe is centered more around sensations. They can be used for thrusting or prostate massage, and are commonly vibrating. They’re often longer, narrower, and/or more dramatically textured than plugs. They are not intended to stay in place or be worn around the way that plugs are.

Anal Vibrators

You’ve probably heard of a vibrator before, but you may be wondering: what is an anal vibrator? An anal vibrator is a toy that vibrates and is designed to be put inside your rectum for anal or prostate stimulation. They come in all shapes and sizes and can be used by people of any gender - fun for everyone!

Everyone is different, so what feels good to one person may not for another. Generally, due to the number of nerve endings down there, anal vibrators can feel pleasurable as they stimulate that area. But don’t be disheartened if they’re not for you - there are plenty of other sex toys to keep you satisfied.

Yes! Lube is always a good idea, but it’s espeically important when it comes to using anal vibrators. Unlike other parts of your body, your anus does not self-lubricate, so lube is a must. Anal lube is also much thicker than water-based lube, meaning it lasts longer and prevents regular reapplication; just make sure that if you're using it with silicone toys, that you're also picking up a water-based silicone lube, since most intended for anal are silicone-based!

Douches & Enemas

Yes, actually. Your bowels contain a certain amount of bacteria and flora to keep that area healthy. Douching can prohibit the growth of this healthy bacteria, so most people recommend douching in moderation: about once a day, and only 2-3 days a week.

Not at all! Douching is absolutely a personal preference. Some prefer to do it more often and feel much more comfortable in their bodies with a clean rectum, while others prefer to save it, only douching occasionally or on special occasions.

Whenever you aren’t sure if you need to douche, there’s a simple way to check your rectum and see if it’s necessary. Simply take one of your anal sex toys, preferably a light coloured one, and insert it into your anus.; leave it in for a short while and then remove it. If you can’t see any fecal matter on it then you probably don’t need to douche.

Large Anal Plugs

Large butt plugs tend to be about 1.75" to 2" in diameter.

The best way to ensure that you're not getting a size too big is to check the diameter of your trainer kit's largest size and compare it to the plug you're looking to get! If it is too big, we recommend going to an anal dialator, like the Odile Absolute, to help you get used to a toy that reaches up to 1.5"!

Depending on the material of the plug, a jelly water-based or hybrid lubricant would be the best choice for anything anal play!

Medium Anal Plugs

Medium plugs are typically about 1.25"-1.5" in diameter.

For anal plugs, we usually recommend a hybrid or jelly water-based lube. Hybrids are great for anal play since they last longer than standard water-based lubes, while jelly lubricants are great since they're thicker in consistency, making it more comfortable for anal play.

Medium plugs come in all designs, from metal, to tail plugs, to your standard silicone, and everything else in between!

Small Anal Plugs

Small plugs are generally in the size range of 1"-1.25" in diameter.

For anal plugs, we usually recommend a hybrid or jelly water-based lube. Hybrids are great for anal play since they last longer than standard water-based lubes, while jelly lubricants are great since they're thicker in consistency, making it more comfortable for anal play.

Small plugs come in all designs, from metal, to tail plugs, to your standard silicone, and everything else in between!

Tail Plugs

Tail plugs are one of our most popular plug options, actually! People love them for a variety of reasons.

Absolutely! They're a great way to get more into a role, and even if you're not using them for petplay, they're a super cute addition to your toy bag.

Depending on the length of the tail and the sex position, there's a chance that they can interfere a bit, but for the most part, no!

BJ Aid

For a variety of reasons! Some people buy them as gag gifts for friends, while others are looking to make their oral experience more comfortable.

BJ aids are intended to help improve your oral experience! From deep throat sprays, to sprays that make you produce more saliva, to even flavored lubricants, everything is made to make your oral sex time more fun and enjoyable, even as the one giving pleasure and not recieving it.

Penis arousal gels are flavored gels made for both partners' pleasure! They offer a tingling sensation to increase pleasure for the receiver, and act as a flavored lubricant to make oral easier for the giver.

Body Dust & Powders

Body dusts are moisture-wicking flavored powders, and are perfect for foreplay!

Body dusts can be lightly sprinkled across the body with the included feather duster for sensation play. Other than that, people use them as powder lotions, deodorant, face blotters, anti-chafing powder, dry shampoo, and even sprinkle them onto their sheets!

Body Glitters

Just like it sounds, body glitters are either chunky glitter suspended in colored jelly, or body oils infused with microglitter for a more subtle shimmer.

Body glitters are a great addition to any outfit, and for anything from raves, to festivals, to parties, and even in the bedroom! Some of them even glow under UV light, making them perfect for any club or indoor party with blacklights.

Candles

Drip candles are meant to be used for temperature play in the bedroom. They're held up high from the other person's skin, and allowed to drip at random, adding a bit of an element of surprise to the reciever. They do not melt into the skin, and have to be removed after the scene is over. On the other hand, massage oils are candles made to be poured onto the skin and then massaged in--the wax itself turns into a massage oil, while still keeping that temperature play element! Massage oils are also scented, while drip candles are not.

Trim the wick on the candle and light it, then allow it some time for the wax to start melting. Once it's ready, hold the candle about 8 to 18 inches above the skin.

Yes! Our candles are made to be applied to the skin, and are made with either low-temperature wax or shea butter. Being made with low melting point materials keeps them from burning your skin, making them safe to be used as long as the directions are followed.

Female Enhancements

Female enhancements are usually arousal creams, oils, or mints for someone to take before performing oral. Other than that, we also have shrink creams to temporarily make the vagina tighter, and bleaching gel for both the outside of the vagina and anus.

Arousal creams, oils, and serums all function the same: using either warming or cooling ingredients, these products are made to pull bloodflow to the clitoris, making it more sensitive, leading to stronger orgasms and, depending on the person, an increased sex drive due to the tingling or buzzing sensations they usually offer!

Hygiene & Intimate Care

Both feminine washes and intimate wipes are meant to be used on the outside of the vagina, or labia, only! Do not insert the wash or wipe into the vaginal canal, as this can dry out, irritate, or create microtears in the vaginal wall.

Inserting menstrual cups is actually easier than it seems! Simply fold the cup and insert it as far as you can reach. Letting go of the cup once it's in place allows it to unfold and create a seal. To remove, hook a finger over the lip of the cup to break the seal, and pull out. Dump out the contents and rinse, and you're ready to go!

There are also plenty of different ways to fold a menstrual cup before inserting it. Everyone's different, so try a few different ways out, and see what's most comfortable for you!

Strap-ons and Harnesses

Absolutely not! Strap ons are for any couple who wants to partake in them.

There definitely are! There are strap on kits that come with a vibrating dildo, but you can also use any vibrating dildos with a flared base and a harness.

Anything from SpareParts! The Tomboii harness is a pretty penny, but it's the most comfortable harness, and perfect for if the wearer is more comfortable in boxer-style harnesses.

Lotions

Depending on who you ask, yes! Just like pheromone perfumes, some people swear that they work, while others not so much. Nonetheless, pheromone lotions still smell great, so they're a great pick for after a nice shower, shave, or exfoliating!

Surprisingly, yes! Plenty of people are looking to buy lotions, especially ones from adult stores, due to us carrying certain brands like Coochy, or certain products having added pheromones to them. You also can absolutely use them in the bedroom, the same way that you would use a massage oil! Some people even prefer for their partner to give them a massage using lotion instead of oil too, since lotion tends to sink into the skin quicker than massage oils do, and gives you long-lasting soft skin.

Male Enhancements

Male enhancements is anything made to increase your size, increase stamina, or increase sensitivity.

Most penis enlargement creams are made of natural formulas that encourage tissue growth, and averagely only impacts your girth, but it helps encourage bloodflow into the penis, since that's what impacts your erection size.

Massage Oils

For the most part, no. Some may be stickier than others if you're interested in flavored or kissable massage oils, but oils that are just scented are typically not sticky at all!

No. Not only can you not use oil with condoms, as it will tear right through them, but it can also ruin plastic-based sex toys and trap bacteria in the vagina, or even irritate the vaginal walls.

Nipple Play Bath & Body

Nipple suction is as it sounds; typically pump or twist-top suction cups that are place over the nipples to bring blood flow to them, making them larger and more sensitive.

Nipple gels and balms are cooling or warming topicals meant to be massaged into the nipples to make them more sensitive! They're great for if you enjoy any form of nipple play, as they often also have a tingling sensation to them.

Pheromones & Body Sprays

We certainly have regulars who swear by pheromone sprays on their date nights or nights out! Check out our blog on all things pheromones to learn a bit more about them as well!

The most popular body spray is actually the Coochy Island Paradise!

Skin Brighteners

Skin brighteners are topical creams meant to lighten dark spots or hyperpigmentation.

Yes - as long as it's only applied externally. Plenty of skin brighteners are marketed to be used around the anus, but plenty of people use them on scars, underarms, and more!

Toy Cleaner

Toy cleaners are a great option since they contain ingredients that continue cleaning your toy while it's in storage. Plus, regular soap can damage your toy if it's too harsh of a soap, or cause the silicone to latch onto the fragrance if it's scented.

Using toy cleaners is easy! Just spray onto the toy and wipe or rinse it off.

Warming Bath & Body

Massage oils tend to trap bacteria, so we would say no. Most massage oils aren't safe to internal use, and can lead to irritation, or even infection. Warming lubricants would be a safer choice!

No, as long as they're used externally! Make sure to also avoid any scrapes, cuts, or areas that are irritated.

Desensitizing Lubricants

Desensitizing lubricants are what they sound like - lubricants that dull the nerve endings wherever it's put. These types of lubricants are often used for anal sex.

Desensitizing lubricants often contain a small amount of either benzocaine or lidocaine, both being numbing agents. It's also the same main ingredient used in delay sprays for men!

Sure, absolutely! Though keep in mind, if you're using it for sex with anyone with a vagina, you're likely to also numb the other person as well. On the other hand, plenty of men use desensitizing lubricants with stamina trainers, like strokers and masturbators, to help them delay orgasm!

Flavored Lubricants

Most of them do, actually! With a variety of flavors to choose from, a lot of our flavored lubricants are perfect for any oral sex activity.

Due to the sugar content and flavoring in these lubricants, they tend to be very irritating to the rectum or vaginal walls when used internally; because of this, we recommend using it for oral sex only!

Some are, but not all. The Jo Flavored Lubricants and Sliquid Swirl lines aren't sticky at all!

Hybrid Lubricants

Hybrid lubricants are lubricants that consist of about 10-15% silicone, and 85-90% water. This added silicone is diluted enough to not damage your silicone toys, but still prominent enough to keep the lubricant from getting sticky or tacky and help it to last longer than your traditional water-based lubricant!

Honestly? Everything. Hybrid lubricants are a great choice for regular intercourse, insertable toys like dildos, rabbits, and anal toys, and even anal play all together. Since it lasts longer than regular lubricant, it's especially recommended for anal play!

Sure! They may not taste the best, but ingesting the small amount of silicone that's in hybrid lubricants won't harm you. Just ideally, don't drink the whole bottle!

Natural Lubricants

Natural lubricants are organic lubricants that are perfect for those who are a bit more wary of ingredients, especially if you're using them internally. Almost all of our natural lubricants are water-based, and they're safe for any type of sex!

Those who find that they have any vaginal sensitivities or that other lubricants burn or irritate the vagina may benefit from switching to a natural lubricant! Natural lubricants typically don't contain any glycerin or parabens, which are two of the most common vaginal irritants.

Silicone Based Lubricants

Unfortunately, no. Silicone lubricant causes a chemical reaction when in contact with silicone toys, and will melt the material off of your toy! While it's cool to watch happen, it's definitely not worth the money lost, so it's best to stick with a water-based or hybrid lube when using silicone toys.

You can use metal and glass toys with silicone lubricant! You can also use silicone lubricant with any condoms.

Water Based Lubricants

Not all of them! There are a good handful that are, but if you're looking for specifically organic lubes, we recommend checking our natural lubricants collection.

Warming Lubricants

Absolutely! Just make sure they're not a silicone-based warming lubricant if using them with toys!

If you've noticed irritation while using non-warming lubricants, then moving to a warming lubricant could irritate your skin further. We recommend trying a natural lubricant instead, and see if that helps the irritation!

BDSM & Bondage Books

BDSM & Bondage books are typically educational material (no, not erotica) intended to help you learn the ins and outs of bondage, and pick up some new techniques.

You should expect to find informational material covering things like safewords, rope tying, how to use different BDSM toys and tools, and get introduced to new concepts you might not have heard of or seen before!

Having the material you're interested in trying out in a physical form can make it easier to bring up to your partner, or allow them to stumble across it themselves organically by just having it on your bookshelf or nightstand! It's a great, subtle way to let your partner know of the things that you may be interested in trying. Other than that, some people don't want to search through thousands of websites talking about the same information; having it all condensed into one book can be far easier to consume!

Card Games

Not necessarily! Some of our card game options are perfect for bringing to any party, and make for a great way to have fun with some friends, or on a double date.

Absolutely! Check out our Sexy Girls & Guys Playing Cards, which make for a great gift for friends, partners, and more!

Absolutely! Card games can be a great way to shake up your bedroom life again, or get more comfortable with a new partner. They're even great for couples who just want a night of fun, but aren't sure where to begin!

Coloring Books

Actually, plenty of people! They make for a great gift for friends, partners, bridal parties, and even to yourself! Though they may seem more like a gag gift purchase, a lot of people buy them because they love coloring books to destress, but are tired of the typical options for adult coloring books (mainly mandalas, honestly), and want to put some fun back into their hobby!

Couples' Health & Pleasure Books

Couples' health and pleasure books a great purchase for any couple, and usually are books more along the lines of journals and date ideas.

You should expect to find content relating to improving you and your partners' sex life, offering new ways to spice things up in the bedroom, date night ideas, and new ways to communicate with your partner outside of the bedroom as well!

Dice

If you're looking to change things up in the bedroom, dice games are definitely worth it! They're a great way to have both partners involved, and the randomness of rolling dice keeps things exciting.

Dice games are your standard dice, but instead of numbers, they have actions written on them to help give you and your partner ideas of what new things to do in the bedroom. Often times, you roll multiple dice, and then read them off either out loud or just to yourself, and perform whatever action it landed on! Most dice will give you an action and where on the body to do it, but some dice games even have another option of what kinky item to use as well.

Dirty Games

Think of your classic card or board game - then put an adult twist on it! Dirty games are perfect for a night in, or played with a few glasses of wine. They're sure to keep both partners involved, and make an end to a wonderful date night even more fun.

Most people buy dirty games because they want to take the thinking out of their fun in the bedroom! Dirty games offer a variety of options to utilize in the bedroom, and may even introduce you and your partner to something new that you both enjoy. Some people even buy them simply because it looks fun, or would be a great way to spice things up in the bedroom if their sex life has gotten a bit monotonous!

Erotica Books

No, not at all! Think of Fifty Shades as the gateway to erotica; everyone knows of it, whether they love it or hate it, and it likely introduced them to some new concepts that they hadn't heard of before. Fifty Shades is just most people's starting point to their introduction to all things Erotica.

Absolutely not! Just like your usual reading genre options, there's plenty of variety within the Erotica genre, from fanasy-themed, to women dominance, to thrillers and crime-based, and even more!

How To Books

How-to books are just as they sound - they're your traditional instructive books, but for adults. It's like sex ed, but better, and with no beating around the bush with certain topics!

Depending on which book you pick up, you'll find things like tips for oral sex, sex positions, how to give your partner a better orgasm, BDSM tips & tricks, and even more!

LGBT+ Books

At Intimates, we want to make sure that we have options for everyone, no matter their race, sexual orientation, gender, etc. Due to the oversaturation of erotica catered to straight people on the market, we decided it would be best to make a section just for those in the LGBT community!

Actually, yes! These books are specfically written to help lesbian, gay, trans, and nonbinary couples navigate in the bedroom, give some new ideas, and introduce them to new positions that they may not have considered before.

Men's Health & Pleasure

Our collection of men's health and pleasure books cover topics ranging from tips to help your partner, information about sex when you're over a certain age, prostate health, sex position ideas, and even more.

Absolutely, that's why we call them men's health and pleasure! You'll find that we have A Field Guide to Men's Health, which is likely exactly what you're looking for. Though it covers sex as well, it doesn't focus on sex tips, simply on how your health can impact your libido and sex life!

Party Games

Absolutely! These are great to bring to any party, or just to give to a friend for fun. Our party games are a more toned-down option for those who don't want the night to get a bit too scandalous!

Women's Health & Pleasure

Sure! Our women's health books contain plenty of tips for pleasure, and having it in a physical form can make bringing it up to your partner easier.

Depending on the book, our women's health and pleasure options discuss a bit of everything, from how to have an orgasm, to improving your sex life, and even more!

Assorted Condoms

Condoms should fit around the penis without being loose. If the condom is too big, it could slip off during sex, decreasing its effectiveness as a contraceptive/STI barrier, but you don’t want the condom to be too tight either, as this can be uncomfortable and may lead to the material tearing. To help make sure the fit is right, many brands make condoms in a range of sizes.

Offering different textures to stimulate both partners during sex, textured condoms feature sensual dots, ribs, and/or beads to bring an extra exciting dimension to your pleasure. With a large selection available from a wide range of trusted brands, make it your mission to discover why these condoms are perfect for both safe sex and great sex!

Yes! Though most condoms come pre-lubricated, some people prefer to add a bit more after putting the condom on to prevent their partner from experiencing discomfort. Adding more lubricant to condoms, especially ultra-thin ones, can help prevent them from tearing, too! Lube is always a good idea, no matter what type of sex you're engaging in.

Dental Dams

Dental dams are sheets of latex, usually flavored, that lay over the genitals to create a barrier for oral sex.

Since dental dams act as a barrier between someone's mouth and another person's genitals, they can greatly reduce your risk of sharing any fluids that carry STIs.

Simply! You just open the packaging, lay the dam across the genitals, and toss into the trash when you're done performing oral. Read up more on dental dams here!

Extra Sensation Condoms

Absolutely! Extra sensation condoms are a great option to counter out how condoms tend to dull down the pleasure compared to sex without a condom. The extra sensation usually comes from the condoms being textured, or having some kind of stimulating cream on the outside of the condom, similar to clitoral and penile stimulants!

If you find that warming or cooling lubricants irritate you, then it would be best to avoid and sensation condoms that are anything other than just textured. Most sensation condoms are lubricanted with some type of "sensation" lubricant, whether that's warming, cooling, tingling, or others. Depending on the person, these lubricants or creams can be irritating on their own.

Flavored & Colored Condoms

It definitely depends on the brand, but overall, yes! The most common complaint people have with flavored condoms is that the latex leaves a bit of an aftertaste through the flavoring. To help with that though, you can always add some extra flavored lubricant, as long as it pairs well with the flavor of condom!

The flavoring in flavored condoms usually contains sugar, which can absolutely irritate the vagina or anus if used internally. For this reason, we recommend using flavored condoms just as an oral sex barrier, and to remove it in exchange for a regular condom when moving on to intercourse.

Large & XL Condoms

If you've worn a standard size condom before and noticed it was uncomfortable or ripped easily, then you may be better off trying out a large condom instead!

Absolutely! Try out the Skyn Larges for a reliable non-latex condom that still fits you comfortably.

Latex Free Condoms

The most common materials used for latex-free condoms include polyurethane, polyisoprene, and lambskin. Make sure to check that whatever lubricant you pick out is compatible with these materials!

Since latex-free condoms are most commonly made with polyurethane, they don't have that typical balloon-like smell! This is a common reason why people prefer non-latex condoms over latex, actually.

Sensual Kits

Think of sensual kits as a getaway retreat weekender bag. It has all of the essentials for a romantic night in, from massage candles to body dusts and even more. They're the perfect choice for if you want a little bit of everything, and is a great way to unwind.

Blindfolds

Some blindfolds are made of lace or another semi-opaque material more for aesthetics than functionality. They're a great addition to any lingerie piece!

Absolutely! The only downside is they might move around more than traditional blindfolds, but they're a more comfortable and elegant option.

Cock Cages

Cock cages are another name for chastity devices! They're metal or plastic cages, usually with locks, that go around the penis to inhibit use. They fall under the submissive category in BDSM!

Depending on the length of time you're planning on wearing it, the answer varies. If you're only wearing the chastity device for one bedroom session, then silicone is perfectly fine! However, if you'll be wearing them long term, you're better off going with metal. Wearing a silicone chastity device for too long, even with frequent cleaning, can lead to chafing, fungal infections, lesions, and cause the silicone to start smelling a bit funky.

Collars & Leashes

For the most part, yes! The only ones that can't endure stress to the collar are the Bijoux Indiscrets collars, as they're made more for aesthetics than for functionality.

Collars that come with nipple clamps are more of a 3 in 1 scenario - you get that bit of restraint with the collar and clamps, plus depending on the person, you may be interested in letting your partner lightly tug on the chains that connect to the clamps, adding in a bit of a leash aspect. They're not for everyone, but they're a great option for if you enjoy a bit of nipple play as well!

Cuffs

Yes, but more for light play sessions and boudoir photo shoots! They're more for aesthetics than functionality, so if you're planning on tugging on your cuffs, we'd recommend going for some that have a thicker chain and cuff material.

If you'll be tugging on the cuffs, even subconsciously, then no. The metal can chafe and cut into the skin, causing plenty of pain for the one wearing them - and not a good kind of pain! Some fuzzy handcuffs can even do the same thing, which is why cuffs made for longer wear are made of thick leather, or even padded.

Erotic Furniture & Sex Machines

Erotic furniture is anything from seats that have dildos attached, to chairs made for sex, to position aids, and even more!

Sex machines are what they sound like! Varying from sit-on vibrating machines to thrusting machines, sex machines are a fantastic investment for people who want to try something with plenty of power behind it. They're also incredibly popular with the BDSM community!

Gags, Muzzles, & Hoods

No. Most o-ring gags are not wide enough to fit genitalia. If that's your intention with gags, we recommend a mouth spreader instead, like the Strict Mouth Spreader, or the Ouch Hook Gag!

Hoods are a very popular option for people who want to try out a bit of roleplay in the bedroom! They're more along the lines of masquerade masks with them being a sexy way to "obscure" the identity of the person wearing it!

Nipple & Clitoral Clamps

Not really! The purpose of them is to make the nipples or clitoris more sensitive once the clamps are removed. They typically don't hurt, and are even adjustable so you can set them to a comfortable position tension-wise!

Purely for aesthetic reasons! Think of them like removeable (and pleasurable) nipple piercings; they look pretty without the pain and commitment of a full piercing!

Rope & Bondage Tape

Bondage tape is a more beginner-friendly restraint option in comparison to rope. It's a type of tape that sticks better to itself than to skin, so it won't chafe or rub against the skin like rope can!

No - not unless you're very familiar with tying rope, and you've discussed it with your partner first as well. Traditional rope tends to fray easier, is more abrasive, and can cause some serious damage if used improperly, while bondage rope is a silk or hemp rope that's soft on the skin. The same goes for regular tape vs bondage tape, too - regular tape can pull out any body hair, or burn the skin if it comes loose and starts chafing, while bondage tape is made for skin contact, and is easy to remove.

Suction - Fetish

Nipple suction is as it sounds; typically pump or twist-top suction cups that are place over the nipples to bring blood flow to them, making them larger and more sensitive.

Everyone's a bit different, but overall, yes! It's not painful, and primarily just makes the area more sensitive!

Bondage Kits

Bondage kits are basically an everything-you-need kit, perfect for beginners who are looking to quickly build their collection without spending a ton of money buying things individually.

Definitely not! Bondage kits are perfect for everyone, beginners or seasoned players. Experts love them for the bondage on a budget aspect, and since everything in the kits match.

Crops & Canes

Crops require precise aiming and control, since only the leather part at the end should make contact with the body. On the other hand, canes require a bit less control, though they still require precise aiming! Canes can make contact with the body anywhere but the handle, though you do have to be careful of where on the body you're aiming for, as they can cause some bodily damage if used on the back.

Typically, no, if used safely and correctly. We recommend researching how to use canes in a BDSM setting to avoid harming your partner (more than they're into, at least)!

Electro-Stim

Electro-stim is toys and gear that has an electric element to them. From dildos, to canes, and many more, electro-stim is a surprisingly popular option for the shock factor, pun intended!

Electro-stim can add a bit of a surprise element to the bedroom, as well as sensation play. Most people prefer for their partner to wear a blindfold when incorporating electro-stim into the bedroom, so they can keep their partner on their toes! Electro-stim is also popular due to the sheer variety of options there are, and due to it being a more niche bedroom addition than your typical vibrator or dildo.

Floggers

Floggers provide a different sensation than paddles or crops; more stingy than crops, and doesn't give as much of a "thud" sensation in comparison to paddles. Plus, floggers can cover a bit of a wider area, due to the individual strands!

Yes! Each material in floggers and whips provide a different sensation. Floggers with fur will give more of a lighter sensation, better for those just starting out in fetish play, those with less of a pain tolerance, or people who just like the sensation and not so much the pain! On the other hand, braided floggers sting more, and are better for experienced recievers. Same goes for whips; braided and heavy leather whips are better for those who are more experienced and into pain, while a light pleather is good for those just starting out!

Gloves

Yes! From hand or glove kinks to sensation play, depending on what someone's into, gloves can certainly become a staple in the bedroom.

We categorized gloves into fetish and BDSM play since they're not just roleplay gear! Gloves are used for sensation play more than anything, and can be integrated into you and your partner's BDSM and fetish play more directly than something like roleplay clothing.

Nip Play Fetish

Nipple play is suction and non-piercing nipple jewelry!

Nipple play is more about aesthetics and suction than actual clamps. While most clamps do have some kind of dangly jewelry hanging from them, not everyone enjoys the feeling of nipple clamps, so our non-piercing jewelry is a great option! On the other hand, some others may enjoy the heightened sensitivity that nipple clamps can give, but don't like the feeling, so suction is a great option for them!

Paddles

Absolutely - as long as you avoid any tender spots on the body, like the sides of the lower back.

Yes! Each material provides a different amount of pain for the reciever. Fur lined paddles are great for beginners, people with lower pain tolerances, or for those who like the idea of being spanked without the pain, while dense leather or acrylic paddles are for those who know that they're into pain in a sexual setting and are comfortable with it!

Pinwheels

Pinwheels are a great sensation and mild pain play tool, depending on the amount of force put behind them when rolled on the skin.

Pinwheels work the best when used with massage oil! Putting massage oil on the skin first keeps the pins from sticking to the skin, and causing more pain than intended.

Position Aids

Position aids are as they sound - they're bedroom tools to help someone keep the position that they're in without the exhaustion or aching you get if you're in one position for too long. We have a variety of position aids, from blow-up furniture to padded slings, all made to help you have the best sexual experience you've ever had.

Everyone, though position aids are most popular in couples with distinct height differences, and with older couples to help counter muscle fatigue or aches.

Swings & Door Restraints

For the most part, no! Depending on what swing you get, some may have ceiling hooks, while others have a base stand. Nonetheless, assembly is easy - if you've ever ordered furniture from an online retailer before and had to put it together, it's the same idea!

Depending on your door, they definitely can. To counter this, an easy solution is actually just a rubber door stopper, to help keep your door in place fully!

Sounding

With proper usage and care, absolutely. Most sounding rods are made from stainless steel so they're easy to efficiently clean, and so they can be used with silicone lubricant!

Yes! They can be used by both men and women, but since the female urethra is shorter, they don’t need the full length of these rods. Sounding is more popular in men, however, due to the ability to stimulate the prostate through the urethra.

Spreader Bars

Depending on the type of spreader bar you get, they can be. If you're getting a bar that has wrist cuffs attached to them, make sure that your partner is comfortable throughout while using them, as those are definitely for people who are a bit more flexible. Spreader bars with cuffs can also throw off your partner's sense of balance, so be careful!

Spreader bars are ankle cuffs with a bar in the middle, made to keep the wearer's legs open. Some people also use them for degradation play as well!

Under the Bed Restraints

Absolutely! Most under the bed restraints have removable cuffs that can be tossed into a nightstand or closet after use, leaving only the straps behind, which can easily be tucked under the mattress until you and your partner want to use them again. The plus side of under the bed restraints is that the whole system typically only needs to be set up once, so you don't have to worry about moving the entire mattress again once the tethers are under it!

Most are, but check the product description to make sure they'll fit your bed; some may not fit a king or twin size mattress, but work perfectly fine with fulls or queens, for example.

Waterproof Sheets

Waterproof sheets are a great cover to help keep your actual sheets dry from any bodily fluids, lubricant, massage oil, and more.

Absolutely! Most waterproof sheets are made from vinyl, since it's a more budget friendly material, but if you value comfort with your waterproof sheets, our in-store Liberator liquid velvet throw blankets and bedsheet sets are a fantastic waterproof blanket option!
