Honestly, anyone who says picking a color does not go into the selection process of choosing a toy, or anything else is wrong. The Femme Funn Ultra Wand Mini comes in three fun and vibrant colors. Pink, Purple, and Turquoise (obviously, I chose Turquoise) after picking a pink regular Femme Funn Ultra Wand. I wanted something a little more fun this time around. I always like to be informed about the bells and whistles when I purchase a new vibrator. For me, a vibrator that is quiet, powerful, discreet, rechargeable, and waterproof is what I am looking for and is most important to me. Others, however, may find it more important to find a vibrator that is entirely submersible or has different vibration patterns, and to that, I say, to each their own.
The Ultra Wand Mini has 10 Vibration Modes, is 100% waterproof, rechargeable via a magnetic charger (how convenient), and is made from 100% premium-grade silicone. The Ultra Wand Mini also stands at 5.7 inches, while the original Ultra Wand is 8 inches tall. Suppose you are someone who is purchasing a wand to use during intercourse, and you struggle to be able to reach the clitoris while in certain positions I would probably not recommend the Ultra Wand Mini. In that case, the Ultra Wand Original will give you more of the length that you desire.
Now having the regular Ultra Wand since it was released a couple of years ago, I figured that this was the perfect opportunity to put them both to the test and see which one comes out on top or if it was an even tie. Although I love both the Ultra Wand and the Ultra Wand Mini, I would hands down choose the Mini time and time again if for nothing else than size alone. It is much more compact and easy to store inside a nightstand or take with you on the go. It also looks like your average back massager, so taking it through TSA should not result in funny looks or audible gasps. And truthfully, I am not always a fan of using big and bulky toys while masturbating or with a partner; something smaller and less "in the way" makes everything much more comfortable and less like you're trying to have sex with a beach ball in between you. However, with that being said, I still struggled with the Ultra Wand Mini being very noisy. I suppose that the Original Ultra Wand is also loud. Still, at least when I am buying a smaller version of a toy already on the market, I am likely purchasing it because I want it to be more discreet, which also comes down to the noise factor.
Typically I prefer a deeper and more rumbly type of vibration. Unfortunately, the Ultra Mini Wand vibration is more of a rattle and tickling type of vibration than that of a Fun Factory or Femme Funn vibrator. I would not go as far as to say that I chose the Ultra Wand Mini over the original Ultra Wand purely because of convenience.
Still, I would be lying if I said that was not a significant contributing factor.
I would be remiss in not mentioning just how long the battery life on this little guy lasts. Obviously, depending on the individual/individuals and how frequently they use their wand and at what speed, the Ultra Wand Mini can live on one charge for quite some time. I am someone who charges my vibrator, uses it on a mid-level setting for approximately 30 minutes or so, turn it off, and it goes back into storage after being cleaned. Others may choose to use their vibrator at a higher speed for more extended periods, which will drain the battery quicker. Still, in my experience, I have not needed to throw it on the charger all but once since I purchased it several months ago, and if I am being honest, the less you need to worry about charging your toy, the better, right?
Now let us talk about the "boost" mode, shall we? Or also known as the lightning setting. Sometimes what we need in order to crank that last orgasm out is something just a little more impactful than the average speed, and that is where the boost mode comes into play. Using high-frequency vibration for extended periods can make it a bit more challenging to have multiple orgasms, but if you are like so many of us, you need that last little oomph to get the job done.
